I have a question about machetes, do Condor Machetes come razor sharp out of the box? (I purchased a lesser brand and it was as sharp as a spoon)

My humble opinion... It looks perfect as is, don't change a thing.

Yeah I think it looks great too...but I think that canting it would help it perform and feel a little better. That's just looking at it though, I guess Jeff and Shon will do some experimenting.

You could solve a lot of issues at once by having Ontario import Tramontina machetes, re-package them with Rat Cutlery boxes, and ship them to the dealers. Even they should be able to handle that. Of course the Kool-Aid drinkers would pay for all that to have the official machete.

Win win ;)

When I first heard of the RC10 concept I thought "I'll pass".. but I might have to change my mind... Like Jeff said, I probably wouldnt use it for much, but it is pretty cool.

I'd rather see the RAT logo than the ESEE logo on it. But it seems i'm in the minority as far as RAT logo preference goes

Ontario and RAT Cutlery are not affiliated in any way.
 
And they'll be doing a collaboration for a machete with Condor. While Tramontina is awesome...Condor is MORE awesome! (at least I think so) :D

That's not right. The Ontario RAT knives were designed by us. Ontario still pays us a royalty on those knives, so we are indeed affiliated.
