Really ticked about Busse customer service, or lack thereof.

My personal experience has been excellent customer service. Every single time I have called I have received an immediate response from the Busse team.

Sorry you didn't get a return call/email but I assure you that is not the norm as the Busse team provides some of the best customer service on the planet.

I was gonna write some long-winded post about how excellent Busse's customer service is and has always been since my very first of many, many orders, but VoxHog's post is spot on for my experiences with Busse Combat too.

Sorry that your few attempts somehow went unanswered. This is most definitely the exception rather than the norm.

YOWZA!!!!!

Call the office tomorrow at (419) 923-6471 before 5:00 PM eastern and ask for either Amy-0 or myself and we will take care of you.

. . .. OR email me directly at jerry@bussecombat.com and I will see to it that you are taken care of. . .

There are many examples of the efforts we have made in order to satisfy every customer complaint. . . . Typically we like it when folks call to BUY a knife. . . Not really a good business plan to dodge customers who are trying to make a purchase. . .

Let's Drink!!!!

if that's not customer service, I don't know what is. I'm betting you money that even though they no longer make that knife, they will make one just for you.
well to be honest, I have had good service. But then again if I want something I am very persistent. They have taken special editions off the store list, I was very polite and kept asking them, and someone ended up cancelling and I got what I wanted. Great service. With Busse, if you keep trying, there is always a way to get what you want. Being very nice and keeping at it helps.

Dan,

Why aren't you sleeping???. . . You're in my time zone man. . . . Get some sleep!!!!

I'm only awake because I need to finish a fifth of Pappy. . . . We all need to set goals for ourselves. . . .

...Jerry is DaMan.

...keep us posted, JR....
(I've NEVER experienced such a customer service with what BusseCombat treat their buyerz. It's simply a FACT.)

I think Jerry is a gentleman answering in this way.

Like Liu Kang said “if that’s not customer service, I don’t know what is”

BUSSE is the word used for benchmarking customer service.

JayRatt, as a very recent Busse convert myself I really am surprised at your reaction. Especially considering the amount of time without a follow up from either side!

Obviously I'm NOT a HOG, far from it. My join date here is pretty self explanatory as it is within days after my very first INFI purchase, though I've admired Busse blades for years from a distance. I can already personally vouch for customer service on the phone from Amy-O during business hours to be second to none.

If you talk WITH them instead of ABOUT them I can only imagine you will be as pleased as I was and still am. Heck, you've already got Jerry's word on it so do yourself a favor and take him up on it!

If every company in America provided service half as good as Busse and his crew I can only imagine how much better and different things would be. To any of you others that are unsure about buying from Busse, please don't let this thread dissuade you.

Keep up the good work Boss, I'm hooked!

I have not been here that long but I have called the shop enough that I think Amy knows when I say hello that it is me.( Yes I have called alot)

That being said, I have never ever not got a answer to my call. I have however not recieved a reply to one of my e-mails but I just give it a day or two and send it again and then I get a reply.

I would take the Boss up on his offer and get a TB from them unless you want to buy one of mine for one miiilllllllliiiiooonnnn dollars.

BUSSE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE BEST!!!!!

Hahahahahahahaha!!!

All you have to do to get a knife after the deal closes is create a fake account and complain that you tried to get one MONTHS ago and didn't get it.

I'm never ordering from the website again! ROTFL!

BTW - nice job Jerry. Hopefully the OP hasn't left in a huff and actually reads this and gets his knife. I'm also betting he would have gotten it had he just called the shop and told his tale of woe. (Why are there always tales of woe and never tales of giddy-up???)

My experience:
I'm from Holland and could not figure out the time zone difference, so I never bothered calling. But when I first became interested in Busse, I emailed all three companies, several times.
Never once received a reply. Not once. This, combined with their weird method of purchasing (you're lucky if they have anything for sale at all) made it clear I was dealing with something out of the ordinary - which is obviously true. On top of that, there seem to be two companies that sell Busse knives - sometimes. I still don't really understand the rationale behind that, if there is any.

So my first experience with Busse CS was not positive either.

But I had to see what the big deal was, went to Ebay and this forum, got a hold of my first, and understood.
Funny thing is, since then, all three companies return my emails promptly. Seriously. I don't know how or why, but they do, whereas before they acted like I wasn't there.

I don't care, I didn't take it personally, I persisted and got my 1st Busse. And my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th... etc...
Amy now congratulates me when my next purchase is shipped. What more can one ask?? (ok, I wanna graduate to hogdom one day, but I'm a happy piglet for now ;) )

I dunno, all of my CS experiences with Busse have been great. :D

I emailed twice or 3 times and Amy respnded to all of them.

Ordered 3 Tank Busters with no problems at all, even got an email when they were going to be shipped.

Asked Jerry about sending in My CGFBM and it was no problem.

Ordered 2 BWM with no issues.

Don't see any CS problems at all. :D

Look, no Company is Perfect! When stuff goes down, like once in a blue-moon, just give the Busse crew a little time to sober up. They will ALWAYS make it RIGHT!! ;)
:D

The few times I called someone always answered the phone, this was always on a business day before 5 pm.

The email thing is flaky in general - I've sent several emails that were flat-out never received. That could mean spam filters or ISP troubles or gremlins in the tubes, but I make it a policy to NEVER judge a company by whether they respond to emails, since so many things can go wrong with email and you would never know.

That said, despite the occasionally missed email, Busse (and associated sister companies) has hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced. Even if they do refuse to sell me a bama clay bushwacker :grumpy: :p

Only problem I've had with Busse themselves is that I've never been able to get an order through the website. I must be in some kind of weird time-space anomaly.

But when I call, I usually call about 3 seconds after the office opens, and I think two rings is the longest I've waited.

BTW, I have to ask. . .last time I called I didn't get the name of the person answering (I was rustling papers and surprised at how fast she answered.

Who is the one that answers the phone with a deep, kinda sexy voice (YES, I'm sure it was a woman and not Jerry). The call only lasted about 2 minutes, so I don't think it was Amy. . .?
