Really ticked about Busse customer service, or lack thereof.

Yes, Busse has great customer service which Jerry and the fam has shown time and time again. But do they really need it. They are not Walgreens trying to compete with CVS for business (ie selling the same crap) trying to out customer service the other. hHe doesnt have to be like that. He is not trying to build a rep for the nicest black smith, but rather the best black smith. Jerry could be more like the soup nazi if he wanted. He could say "no INFI for you!!" and you would be more hurt up then him. So for blades that are so highly priced and still so sought after you better thank your sweet biddy that he puts up with you as much as he does!!


NO INFI 1 YEAR!!!
 
for all those who are curious. I did not call the shop today and have not emailed Jerry. I'm not looking for preferential treatment. I was/am disappointed but that is in fact a part of life. Jerry, I appreciate the offer, but I'll pass. Partly because the moment has passed and I just don't want it anymore, but mostly because after seeing the BWBM on the sight I've decided I'd rather have one of those. Looks like an Infi RTAK and I think that's pretty bitchin'!!
Now I can just hear it. Some are going to ask why I bothered posting in the first place. I suppose that's my prerogative. Some of you don't like my approach or my attitude. Tough. I'm a classically trained French Chef and we aren't exactly known for being cuddly and personable. Most of us are fiery bastards.

All that being said when I do get around to ordering my black and tan BWBM I'll try to get in touch with Jerry personally. Haven't put a drop of alcohol in my body since I was 17 so I guess we'll just have to talk about knives;)

There are many examples of the efforts we have made in order to satisfy every customer complaint. . . . Typically we like it when folks call to BUY a knife. . . Not really a good business plan to dodge customers who are trying to make a purchase. . .

Heck every time - every time I have called I get the best customer service that I have received anywhere!! And I hate to even call it customer service because its more like calling an old friend.

I have had some of the best chats with Amy and some Janitor guy. They are happy that I called - not because I am looking to order a knife, but because they like talking to us - us people out here. In fact as I have said before I almost start feeling bad for all the time I have received as I know they have a lot of other stuff to do!

Busse customer service - it IS the best!

it's a forum right?meaning people are /or should post whats on there mind.
but when people do-they get slammed on here.i understand looking at things from this or that point of view--but let people say what they want.let people vent.it just seems people on this site bully.

you are right and wrong... although your freedom of speech theory holds some water you must understand that this group is a tight nit group...its like going to a christian rally and preaching hard core Islam...you are gonna ruffle some feathers...this is the BUSSE forum... most people love the company here and dont take kindly to people trashing the company...you see?

His attitude?

Perhaps he made a hasty mistake with his first post coming accross with a slight attitude and showing signs of being a "troll" so often seen everywhere on this site.
We don't generally bash anyone here but he entered with a head of steam and little details and got that in return by a few and some good advice from others.
Despite how he entered, he was offered, from Jerry Busse Himself, the opportunity to get the TB he was so mad about missing and declined. :confused: :thumbdn:

Busse made things right and he declined. End of story.

OP had his say, Jerry has had his say, none of the rest of our opinions will solve the problem and if it keeps going downhill someone is going to say something I don't like ;)
