Received BCCI 30th Anniversary Buck 110 Today

I keep going back and forth on this one... I ordered the Damascus yearly knife but keep going back and looking at this one. Your pictures might have just put me over the edge, especially yours jbmonkey!

Did anyone get the Buck 212 with the red handle
and the gold etched blade , that one really caught
my eye . But I got the ironwood and ivory micarta .

I really like everything about the Lucite handled 212...except for the etch. I got the 'plain jane' Ironwood 110 and the David Yellowhorse 212. Preston

That 110 is unbelievably cool. I can't even begin to say how much I like that. I almost wish I didn't see it since I'll never have one. Good on ya boys....nice knives :thumbsup::thumbsup:

JB, does your wife know you have an open knife on your leather furniture? I'm lucky to sit in ours with a knife in the sheath...Ha!Ha!

You have a couple of real nice knives there JB!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

ya know im not sure what the frame is made of? it sure is light in weight. of both I mean since it's the same material in both the ironwood and white screw togethers.

edit part: went back to bcci and read black anodized aluminum frame.

I’m still waiting to receive my ironwood. Been patiently waiting for the mail to arrive everyday since you posted your first pictures..

I'd pay a lot for that ironwood version if I had any money, but I don't...so I won't. Got to be my favorite looking 110 ever.

I wish I had ordered one ..But this feeling is not new. When I truly committed to collect 112's and display them I've passed on many great Bucks to save my resources for the next 112. But the Iron wood 110 I might have to make a exception. I remember texting my brother pics of it because I received my newsletter before him and thinking the 110 was special. and had been well thought out. After 50 years of production it had to be hard to come up with really different and new but Buck and the BCCI did! Even the box is cool..I'd like to thank and recognize the team members from Buck and the BCCI who actually sat down and brainstormed what could be done to make the 30th 110 special and maybe hear a little more of the story of how it came to be. A matching 112 of either version later this year ...Priceless!
