Received BCCI 30th Anniversary Buck 110 Today

Cool auxilliary scales. I hope they sell them on the website. And more varieties too. This could transform the 110 entirely. Good idea!

Yes, the additional scales of man made material moves this model from a 'pretty knife' to a 'carry and use knife'. Then when you add up grade steel to it. It becomes a good knife to carry package. DM

This is funny I was thinking of calling buck to see
what was going with the 30th anniversary knives ,
I thought my knives were forgotten about or lost ,
It's good to know that there on there way .
I was advised there was a problem with the engraving and that they would be late, some as late as December. I ordered the 212.

I really had not considered you could change the blade out with any other 110 blade..We really need a 112 like this with 2 or 3 optional blades to change as the mood suits you. I can see the BCCI offering that kind of package! Drop point and a clip and I'd pay $50.00 extra for a Damascus blade. We never did get a selector in the 112 size..Anybody else want one?

Seems like this thread is getting highjacked a bit, but here's your 112 Selector with a Damascus blade Clinton:

Beautiful, Yep for enough money anything can be made. Our old Pal EEE had a few of the plastic Selectors custom built into some fantastic knives just Like that one Tin Sue is sharing here.

If you want a knife with interchangeable blades, go with Mt Pokt suggestion get a selector and all 7 blades and save some money and can use it and abuse it? I don't understand buying a special knife and wanting to change it into something that may be already available or something completely different than what you bought? I guess I'm old fashioned...

It'll be like buying a Chevy and upgrading it to a Ford... :D:D:p:cool:

I think what you ment to say Don is to upgrade a fix or repair daily (Ford) to a Chevy!

Some of us just don't like all plastic style knives. I never cared for the Bucklite or the Selector's for that reason. However, take the Selector pivit out and put it into a solid standard frame of a 110 or 112 and I love it. EEE, had some beautiful customs built just like the one Tin showed.

While I like the plastic handle knives for function and weight. A screwed together model using micarta or G10 would be stronger
and offer better function. DM

Makael has a selector with wood grips. I will too as soon as he remembers to send them to me....

You mean First On Race Day don't you JB....:D:D:D:cool:
