:D you never see mel gibson drawing his claymore from the nifty back scabbard he supposedly carried it in.

How do you know when your sword may have reached unwieldy proportions? When you have to have a partner to help you withdraw it from the sheath.

That was very nearly the case when Auntie drew the Magnum. She did it but the combination of the weight, the length and her relatively short arms made it a challenge for her.
I probably would have looked the same myself, she pulled it out and I don't remember if her or Bookie put it back, wasn't me.

The funny thing was that those really long swords actually did serve a purpose back then, just a very specific one.

I went to the site and realized some of them were like 40 inches and I incorrectly assumed they were talking OAL. Add some handle length and:eek: Wonder if they jousted with them?

Man I just thunk up a new Olympic event!!!!! Wheelchair jousting!

Been in a chair most of your life, had enough, sign up for wheelchair jousting!

Turning a kukri into a halberd, nifty. Or would that be a poleaxe? Or a polekuk?

Guy with the camera is sorely lacking in steady ain't he, thought I was gonna be sea sick.

Too girlyman. Need stick knives like posted today. Sharp.

Short term sport for losers.

My money is on B'Man. Big, burly and the heart of a lion.

I see these and find myself wondering how the heck one gets in and out of one. Heck a guy with legs would have a tough time getting in that first one.

I laughed so hard at a trade show here a couple years ago. They had a booth with chairs similar to the second one you show. There was 30 guys standing around it, emphasis on the standing. I outside the group, probably the only one of two or three guys in the building that might have an interest and I couldn't get close to it. I wanted to get in and drive it around some.
Didn't happen.

It does come with an optional crane for about fifteen grand. Im surprised J.Leno dont have a rocket powered one yet?
