i received this email from him

Your knives are intact and fine and will be returned to you asap. Do not worry. They were sent to another address and I have to actually get them before I can ship them to you. I had someone "intercept" them before they were lost or anything could happen to them. That person is shipping them to me, and I will in turn ship them to me. I will keep you updated.

i assume by 'i will in turn ship them to me' he means 'ship them to you'

i hope this all get straightened out soon because i leave for a vacation this saturday and i would rrrreallllly like to know where all my knives are before i leave.
 
How did he have "someone" intercept all the knives ? Also how is someone so incompetent that more than one knife was sent to the wrong address ?
This smells of serious bullshit...
 
Can we get a total number of people that are in this situation together. I think we need to work together and share information to get this settled. So if you were scammed by Screwthe49ers please post "I have been ripped off" in this thread and i will make a list in this post. Thanks

Hey, that is a good idea. If the people that posted previously could edit there post with a list of the items they are out that wold help. And the people that will post just add a list to that. Thanks

I have been in contact with him via telephone. He has assured me that he has my knife and will ship it to me priority tomarow morning. He is calling me back tommarow to give me my confirmation number. I will not give out his number so please dont ask but i will be happy to ask about your property when he calls me so please update what knifes you are out. I am trying my hardest to get our stuff back. I will keep you all updated.

he should ship it all to one trusted member and then have him distribute to the people scammed...if it draws out too long though i would file a report with the authorities, dont let it go too long or you may miss your window.
 
I would just like to let everyone know that there knife/knives are accounted for. The orange bark river hedgehog is to be shipped today. The custome para and spyderco bali tomorrow. I've already shipped out 2 packages on Saturday. The rc3 and bm 940 will be shipped tomorrow as well. All others, I'm waiting to receive them myself: should be Wednesday or Thursday, depending on how fast the mail gets them to me. If anyone would like to ask any questions, please don't continue any previous email conversation or reply to a previous email. Please send a new email to screwthe49ers at gmale dot com. All my archived email conversations are to confusing to make heads or tails of.

Hey chris, i think we would all like to know what happened.Was someone else making these deals without your knowledge or were you gonna try and pull a fast one on us ? I myself am not angry ,i just want my property back and an explanation if possible.

I sent him a Busse Combat last tuesday for a Large Sebenza and a case swayback he recieved it friday and has not answered my email about the phoney DC#s . Isd Knoxville The address for the others being frauded , the act of fraud can't be taken back and each act is another count on an indictment. the only hope for him is that everyone is happt to get thier property back.

I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF.

I talked to him again today, he gave me my new confirmation number for my knives he shipped back to me today. Ill let you guys know later tonight or tommarow when the package is scanned. Things are looking positive for us and he is being very helpfull and sympethetic for the situation we are all in. Ill keep you guys updated.

However, in the final anaylsis the wait is just a formality

I want everyone to know that I have 3 knives into Chris for a total of $375.

I have emailed him and he's been responding to the "problem" but with little information and I just now found this thread.

If I do not receive my knives back OR the knives I was promised, I will be pressing charges.

This is is not complicated as earlier stated. We all use the honor system here. Do the right thing to start with, and there will be, and have should have been no problems. No excuses for not responding to people, me included. We don't need people like you Mr. Screwthe49ers, so tell your story walking and send us our property.
 
The new tracking number is legit that he gave me, Time will tell what is in the package but i have a feeling from talking to him on the phone that he is trying to make this right. Once again im am going to try my hardest to make sure all of us get our knives back. Thanks
