Reinhardt Becker Kukri Passaround

No problem at all Clich, it was a scheduling thing on this end. I had made some plans for a trip next week and was going to take it along. Now that I have nothing to chop with, I'll probably die from exposure or be killed by wolves. But don't feel bad, it's been a good run. I have left instructions for my ashes to be scattered (and smothered) at a Waffle House in Nashville should the worst happen.

Murph's in Indiana, haha. :D

OK someone else take over I give up.

Trade whens your trip? I only plan on having this for a day or two

Hey man, take your time. Seriously. We were just going to do some backwoods bushwhacking and camping for a few days. But now that's out the window and my life is shit. Don't worry about it, enjoy it.

Of course you know, I'm trying to give clickinwaller a hard time. I'll just go again the next week. :D

Ha. Well if my plans work out it won't be long. Hopefully I don't drop it in the river ;-)

Please don't do that. Have a safe trip. That whole paddling thing is fun stuff isn't it?

Its awesome! Addicting. There are a lot of trees down that need to be removed though. Its like combing my two favorite things

Sorry trade but I did switch you and l4ne4. I made the order thinking he was in Texas and made it so it didn't back track at all just worked its was the pacific northwest. Then when realized both murph and l4ne4 are in Illinois I switched you guys. Sorry bout that.

Wear the mask when you're playing with your chemicals, I'm a Hoosier.:D

I have the box from Murph sitting in my office. I brought it inside because our parking lot has been known for car thefts, never happened to mine but figure its much safer in here. But now its taunting me from inside the box!

That's great man! Oh..they were able to re-attach the arm torn off by that pack of coyotes I couldn't fight off with my BK 14. So, I'm good to go when it gets here. Glad you got it safe and sound.

:D

I am really hoping to get out and use it tomorrow morning. Clich, what do you want me to do with this thing? There are some trees down at the river that could use a chopping. You want me to stick to simple chopping? small trees? clear the whole freakin river?

Sounds good. BTW just to ease everyones mind, I will have a leash on it while I am actually in the kayak. I dont want to go noodling for a big blade.

Yeah, not fun. It will ruin a pretty good buzz. Glad it made it in time! Trade, I hope it wasn't your "good" arm.

WELL there was no kayaking this morning, it was way too cold. Figures because we have had 70 degree weather for two weeks! Anyways, the knife feels freakin awesome. It is a lot bigger than my BK9 but it does not feel like it, it almost feels lighter then the BK9.

I love choils and this is why. I can still use a huge knife for small stuff.

Overall, I REALLY like this knife. It feels like it would chop like a dream. So heres the thing... the earliest that I will be able to take it kayaking is this coming Sunday. I do not want to keep it that long so Friday I will be doing a little chop test with this and the 9. If this is too long just let me know and I will see if I can do it another time. I cant tomorrow because I work a double.

Keep it man. The only really contingent is that Oregon has to have it by mid April. Mail it Monday, trade will have it for a few days and it will get to the PNW in plenty of time.

Please tell me which Waffle House. I don't want your ashes mixed up with mine. I've left explicit instructions for mine to be covered and chunked.
