Reinhardt Teaser

The Ontario Kuk is good but the handle design is very poor. The Cold Steel Gurka kuk blows it away in chopping.....just like it does virtually every other blade relative to its size. I'm looking very forward to seeing how the new Becker kuk does against the Cold Steel design.

I used to like cold steel... a lot. But since 2007, I just cant do it. :/ my first knife was a cold steel tru flight, or tru thrower. I bought it with lawn mowing $ at the age of like... 6 or 7.
We need to bring cold steel production back to the states!

Any word on what the sheaths are gonna look like for this bad boy?

E says they're shooting for leather, but of course there are no guarantees. You won't need a sheath really. It'll pretty much never leave your hand.

I wonder if it will fit in the Blackjack/Reinhardt Kukri sheath? I have a spare B/RK sheath that I stumbled across on fleabay in case a naked B/RK even came my way.

Now that's what I call thinking ahead! :D

And I am sure it will fit!

It was just sitting there on fleabay, nobody bidding on it, watched it through 2 auctions. Thought it must be a fake since no one was bidding on it. Then someone posted up an RBK w/ sheath and dang if it didn't look just like the free range version, so I figured "what the heck, it's only $20 + shipping if I win it."

So for $25 and change, I became the proud owner of a sheath that, in all likelihood, would only have a knife in it if I broke down and made one to fit the sheath. I think a nekkid BK-21 will appear long before a similarly bare RBK makes an appearance.

The audio is bad is some parts but here is Ethan talking about the RBK.

Great vid Jeremy. Thanks. Love to watch Uncle E talk.

It will be a while before I can pull the trigger on the RBK. Heck, I don't even have a 4 yet.

Yup...

That blade taught me a great deal just by holding it. You can literally feel the transfer of energy into force from pomel to tip. Having never met Mr. Reinhardt, I feel like the blade speaks volumes on his philosophy, and possibly who he was. This is the greatest amount of anticipation I've had for any knife. I wish there was a dealer who had preorder...
