removed from Concerns About Surviv Business and Misleading Lead Tlme

Look at it this way...if you took tens and thousands of dollars from customers and you haven't shipped your product in almost 2 years and you can't meet the demand of production...yes, I think they would hire somebody to handle your financial crisis if their getting ready to go under. You're thinking from a large corporation situation... the law firm would not charge them out the ying-yang to handle a case like this.

No I would hire an accountant.
Any law firm worth a damn would charge out the yin yang.

It's hard to tell at this point what is really going on considering the company has avoided the Conserns thread.
They might be avoiding it because the ship is sinking, or they might be avoiding it because they're fine and they don't want to deal with confrontations from people with obvious chips on their shoulders.
I wouldn't want to deal with that witch hunt if I were them.

If I was Ellie, I wouldn't come to this forum to make one post concerning the health of a dog and not addressing other issues that their customers are having with their company. They know what's going on. They're just buying time that's all. I think Guy has too much pride to publicy call it quits right now. Survive knives makes a great knife but they are absolutely terrible at running a business.

Exactly. If they hired an accountant that means their going to be staying in business and possibly taking a loan so they can keep the lights on. When your filing for bankruptcy you hire a law firm.

I doubt they'd be allowed to continue selling products if they were filing for bankruptcy though.
As far as her coming on here to show concerns for a dog, it was a nice gesture, but it was in poor taste to not address the concerns thread.

Just speculating here:
It could be they entered into Chapter 11 protection in an attempt to reorganize their business. Hence the delays of the refunds.

That could be the truth but I think they have to notify their customers if they're going to be taking that route. Like I mentioned before, it took me 42 days to get a refund. If they're taking that long to issue refunds that means they're very low on funds.

I have no dog in this fight whatsoever, and I agree that proof would be nice.

That being said, SK is showing classic symptoms of a company that is going down. For me, the biggest indicator is that they are completely avoiding the big threads on here about the issues, mainly the concerns thread.

How many times have we seen this trend play out in the past? I hope I'm wrong, and I hope a lot of people don't get completely screwed. Things are looking grim.

This is why all customers here need to cancel their orders and demand a refund before it's too late. Maybe in the future survive knives can get their act together get a real business loan and start over. I highly doubt that previous and new customers would not buy knives from them if they actually have the product in hand ready to ship. that would be a beautiful thing for survive knives. Until then, to prevent from getting screwed over by a company that's obviously going under... survive knives customers needs to cancel all orders and demand a refund immediately.

Buddy I've been down this road with another knife manufacturer. I know the law very well. I'm not going to release any other information that includes hard evidence against this knife production company. If you along with many other customers here have requested a refund you can see it with your own eyes. I'm only here to warn their customers so they don't get screwed over in the future after this company goes under.

We really appreciate hearing your take on the whole situation, since you're obviously very knowledgeable about the law!

I'm sure some of the folks at this company are reading your posts and are really grateful for the invaluable advice which they can use to improve their business!!

Haven't you been warned by a moderator to keep your smart-ass comments to yourself? If you don't have anything real to provide to this thread, don't comment.

I bet I can speak to Guy today and say... " I will pay you $3,000 for a custom gso 12". require that it be completely finished in less than 2 weeks. I bet you I would have that knife in a timely manner. I'm almost willing to fork out the cash just to prove a point

The "limited liability" in LLCs refers to the fact that owners, called members, are protected from personal liability for the business actions of the company. Consequently, if the LLC is sued or runs up debt, the personal assets of members cannot, in most cases, be used to satisfy claims from plaintiffs or creditors. This is a feature that LLC members have in common with the shareholders of corporations. However, liability is "limited" because members are not immune to suits involving civil wrongdoing, also known as a tort.

Knock it off. You've all just been reminded by moderators to keep to the subject. NOT to critique each other.
first alchemy was ordered to avoid this subforum, but considering the very serious implications of his message, I'm going to move this discussion to FEEDBACK / GBU.

The message is very serious. If it ends up being true that is one thing, but if it is false, can anything else be done? Can someone really make up multiple lies about a company and repeatedly tell others to ask for refunds and avoid the company? SURVIVE! has enough real problems without the pretend ones.
Thank you for any consideration.

You seem like you're desperately trying to defame survive knives. You need to provide proof of you getting a check from a law firm or stop the incessant posting. This is freaking asanine.

You do know Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny aren't real right? Maybe you need therapy sessions to accept this huge massive loss in your life that survive knives is not this superhero that you wish like hell they were. it's time to Face Reality buddy

Again with more lies, I really can't believe anything you say.

If you're being truthful about your refund, I'll back off, but if you're not I really hope you're dealt with appropriately.

I've came to this forum twice concerning negligent lying deceiving knife manufacturers and I've been right about both. the first time I came here I had lawyers contacting me threatening legal action. I even had moderators delete posts and banned me from this forum. Everybody(Fan-Boys) thought i was a lying disgruntled customer. I know how far this can go. Survive knives are nothing more than Liars. They have deceived their customers far too long and need to be exposed. all of their customers here on this forum need to demand a full refund and cancel all orders. You better do it before it's too late

I can only speak from my own experience but I received my refund check directly from Survive. The addresses on the letter were hand written directly from Survive in Idaho and they sent three separate invoices for my cancelled orders.

Thanks for the info. When was this?
