That's great to hear. I'm sure when he gets home no matter his intentions he'll probably sleep for a couple of days straight. The hospital is the worst place in the world to get "rest".

That's for the best anyway. Rest is what he needs to get stronger and heal.

I'll try and give him a call tonight and see how he's feeling.

Hospital food does suck!! Wish I were closer Id cook RJ a big steak dinner or whatever he likes! Rest up buddy!! :)
 
Richard just told me that he is going to have an endoscopy tomorrow to repair a bleeding ulcer.
I am sending up some more prayers tonight. He doesn't sound good today. He sounds tired. I hope this is the last of it and he can go home soon.

I am sure he is tired of being in the hospital. Thinking you were about to go home, and then them finding something else to delay that will make you tired. Been there, it ain't no fun. We all need to pray for him daily whenever his name pops into our heads. Prayer works!

Richard come on buddy!! Get better!! Im praying for you man! I know your kind and its like torture having to just lie around and do nothing when you re so used to being very active working! :thumbup:

i just made it home today. i want to thank everybody for their wellwishes. hospital food does suck but i ate 2 angus beef burgers (no bun) earlier and i feel a little better.
 
Richard is back home!!! Yeah!!! Good news for once!! Did you sharpen the scalpels in the hospital? They probably have some paper wheels now! Glad to have you back! As you can tell a lot of people have been pullin for you!! Rest up buddy!! Sure you still have some healing to do! :thumbup:

Welcome back!! Glad you finally made it home. Hope you get to feeling better very soon.
 
It seems that I've been behind on the times in regards to this (just finding out about this now). However, it's good to hear that you're home and on the road to recovery.
 
Richard soon your appetite will kick into overdrive once you mend some more, for a few weeks you will eat like a logger. The kitchen will be a busy place, with the BBQ going like a factory:thumbup:. I had similar surgery as you know and lost close to 90lbs and once one gets stronger the body wants to get back to its normal weight. Enjoy it, for it doesn't take long and then the appetite will return to normal, and your shop will be humming.
