Rick Hinderer Knives Picture Thread

He is. I received my 18 from Rick last week. The blade was not stamped so I contacted him to inquire. It is indeed 20CV.

So was the CTS-XHP steel a sprint of sorts? Or is it a matter of asking for one or the other?

awesome collection nyef :thumbup:. What do you think of the difference between flipper and non flipper? Sometimes I just play with the thought of maybe getting a flipper.... I'm not into them but still... they look great

Rob,
Excellent pictures! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
Every time you post a pic I have an urge to get another xm! :)

There is often some confusion about the different swedges on the spearpoint, so I'll post my deep swedge to show the difference next to Rickster's high swedge:

Very nice L, deep swedge XM's are my favorites. Had a shallow swedge once but got rid of it.

I think there is a spearpoint with an even shallower/higher swedge. Not sure, though.

The lines in the deep swedge are more pronounced but I would be happy with either. Happier with both. I don't know how to describe how I'll feel if I have more :p

Congrats to both for your wonderful knives :)
