Hollow grind everything except for choppers.

Thanks Rick. I did the design and had it made by an engraving company. It has a 1.75" radius on it to match my bolster radius.

When you rough grind your blades, do you do it with your centerline up or down?

Up
The center line your looking down at while grinding the blade. Ill try to get my wife to take a picture tomorrow.
 
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL knives...the grinds are fantastic...hopefully someday I will own such a knife:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Judging the size of the knives by the eggs, I would guess around 4 inches closed, or not ? :confused::)

Rick, thank you for reaching out to me for this knife build. I have enjoyed every step of the WIP pictures that you kindly shared with all of us and I can't wait to put the knife to use.

What else can you say about such a finely crafted knife......thanks Tony Bose for the great design and sharing it with Rick who IMHO knocked it out of the park.
 
They are both absolutely fantastic! Thanks for all the extra work with the pix - I really enjoyed them :cool:
 
Rick, outstanding work. I really like the bent gunstock pattern. Looks very comfortable for hand and pocket.
 
I gotta few of them Rickki blades. Real good knives. I'd take a Menefee over a Bose any day. They cut better, eh.
