Rick Menefee Knives...

Vince, That's a nice looking set you
got there buddy! I smell the veal cooking
as we speak.:D
Thanks for sharing.

Here are three knives being shipped out this week. The bottom knife is a 4" trapper,a new pattern.Rick re worked his prev. pattern on that knife & this will be standard for a 4" trapper. The Front pocket & trapper sport new style shields.A great looking mini Zulu on top.

The middle knife here was shipped to me and received today. I am thoroughly pleased with it. I want to thank Vince and Rick for making it happen.

I only have two other "higher end" folders, a Wayne Clay and a CRK small Sebenza so my experience is limited but the workmanship and finish on this one is tremendous!

Next?..................................

And here's that linen micarta trapper. Gonna make a great worker bee knife!

Awesome, and I love the linen micarta Rick uses. He used it on my dogleg. I am definitely going to get more with that material.

It'll be 9 pcs total w/ finished
3 pcs are re handled tools I owned,a cleaver,a meat flattener & a ss roasting fork. I think they are posted in this thread already
Here are the Menefee knives together.
The two that are being made are the sway hawk,as Campbell calls it & a custom teardrop handled pruner type blade, both these are parer/utility & smaller knives. When those are done I'll take a pic of the whole set.
Then I think I have enough knives, for the kitchen.Since I have an assortment of others that accompany this set.

Notice how that micarta darkens & mellows with time & light
The new knife is lighter color for now

With Rick real busy with the Big Show coming & filling orders,I must be patient to complete the set. But I must admit, the closer to the finish it gets even harder. Rick proved to be a talented maker to put my trust in to do this set. A GREAT friend & knifemaker,Thanks Rick!!

Hey Vince, it looks like Rick is making a coffin jack, that will be incredible.

Yeah Rob,if you look close, you'll see the T Bose inspired secondary blade. It is a really cool blade on one of Tony's ,I'm just not sure witch knife, maybe a Dr. knife ,or ??
But its a cool one
Keep in mind,those are patterns

Thanks Vince, it looks like a coffin or coke bottle to me, but what do I know.

I'm just anxiously waiting for Rick to get time to make another knife for me.
