Rick Menefee Knives...

I always love seeing WIP pictures, but especially those from Menefee's bench. He always has an assortment of interesting knives in progress.

Rob, It's Cocobola.... It's really nice. Never had a knife with it before.
But I really like it! Very Traditional...imho

Jason

Thanks, I wasn't sure from the picture. They've been using cocobola on gun grips forever, it should do great on a knife.

Rob I have not forgot about you at all its a coming.
Great blade show this year. Lots of fun but very busy. Most all the orders i took from blade are multi-blades and i cant wait to get to work. I here some feeling got hurt this year because they didnt get knifes. The only thing i know to say a man better walk faster next year. Also i might save a knife for each day next year.

I see some Fixed Blades in progress. We all love Rick's Folders but i've got 4 Menefee FB's and every one is a 100% keeper, never trade, one day gift to my kids (4). Absolutely natural in hand and cutters like you likely have never experienced before.
The super big name makers make expensive knives. Rick makes knives that cut beyond them.
If you get a chance for a Fixed Blade, snap it up. I know i will.

Thanks Rick, I know you'll take care of me.

Thank you very much roland. It means a lot when people appreciate theyer knifes for what they are. A TOOL NOTHING MORE.

Nice looking fixed blades Roland! Thanks for the pic:thumbup:

What is the second one down called, and whats the OAL please?

Second one down i think was called: "Semi Skinner". OAL 8 1/4"; 1/8" CPM 154; tapered tang; Cocobolo.
I got this one used. Had 'done' 2 deer, but it looks minty enough for me.
