That one is quite nice George. I always love seeing a new Menefee, but one with a shared backspring is over the top.

Thanks for the WIP pic Jason, never can get enough of those.
 
I recently received my very first handmade custom knife (of any kind) and it just happens to be a Menefee Made Wichita Trapper.

Needless to say, I am one happy camper!

I tried real hard to get some good photos of it but my photos do not do this knife justice at all.

I love everything about the knife. From the smooth seams to the swedges to the backsprings that look like they are all one solid piece. I think I did pretty good for my first custom slipjoint. Heck, I did pretty good even if it was my tenth.:p

I am certainly no expert but I think this knife is a masterpiece and I am very proud to own it. I think it's pretty safe to say that this won't be my last Menefee Made knife.

Not sure about the Congress. That one belongs to George.

The closed length on my Wichita Trapper is 3 3/4".

Edit: Sorry Jim. I just realized you were probably addressing Rick Menefee. Sorry about that.:o
