Rick Shotliff/RShotl

If it's someone in this community with a solid reputation, I do the exact same thing. I've never understood the idea of two people entering into a transaction (conducted through the mail) with only one person assuming all the risk. I realize that puts me and others that share that opinion in a minority, but it seems to be the fairest way to conduct business. The caveat again is someone in this community with a solid reputation.

This is the addess I have for this guy. Thank you guys!! The only E-mail I have is the one with his address & #. Ack!!

The utility service is in his dad's name.

This could even be a minor.

DO NOT do business with minors without pay first because they cannot enter into binding contracts. You can sue to get the goods back (if parents won't do the right thing), but how practical is that?

email me please rnatkin@cfl.rr.com WE have friends at another site that may be in his specific location , quite a few in OH actually. Holler if you need me.

I Should be able to get ya a whole bunch of info from a skip trace/collections standpoint as well. may help ALOT may not at all.

How many times have I read about a member sending money only to never receive his knife? It's a two way street in that if someone is less than reputable it doesn't matter whether your sending money or a knife. You run the risk of being ripped off.

Hey Mr. Linton, I'm here in Columbus, Oh. I don't know where Chesterland is but I'm always up for a little "road-trip." I could gather-up some friends of mine (former grunts too) and maybe enlist a buddy who is a cop and who loves to "investigate" this kinda crap. Maybe we could persuade this POS to send TKC her $!? :D (Just a thought.) Jim SEMPER FI

It's "Tom," and I'm < 10 miles away from the Shotliff residence.

Richard, "Rick," Shotliff is the son of the CFO of a major Cleveland-area corporation, Stanley G. Shotliff. He's pretty young because his brother won't graduate West Geauag HS until 2008. I think a phone call to mom or dad will do wonders.

Tom: Indeed, I believe that after talking to YOU, should be seeing my money soon!! James Falor, I DO appreciate your offer of help too!! You guys are the best!!! I can not thank you enough!!

I wonder if it occurred to Richard Shotliff (AKA Rick Shotliff), that years from now, when he is applying for a nice job, an Internet search will turn up this thread -- and all that his conduct here implies.

Availablilty of money is not likely a problem.

Too funny, I did a google search and found some number's in case you want to call daddy or his CEO boss.

I dont know about you, BUT Im seeing alot of people here ID have NO problem sending Goods BEFORE $$$ to  . Glad all has taken a turn for the best TKC...:D

Loandr.

I have a strong feeling that I WILL get my money!! I have always sent my items before getting the money!! I have never had a problem. I look at it as a good faith gesture, you know?

Glad this seems to be working out.
Not long ago I wouldn't think twice about sending something if they said they were sending a M.O. but after selling a good number of knife lanyards I have changed my mind unless it is someone with a good rep.
Several times in the last few weeks I have gotten emails from people with a lanyard order and thier shipping address saying they are sending a M.O. out the next day and not hearing from them again with no M.O. ever showing up.
Again I do not worry about people that have a good rep or at least a good post count.

It is truly amazing the amount of information everyone can provide. It really is who you know, i'm new to this site but can already see the bonds that are made. What a great place to be. TKC with people like these you all the help you need and something tells me you will get your money.
