RICKYHAWK: Took 36 days!! to receive the knife... with help from Good/Bad/Ugly Thread

Rob this same thing happened to me ! He told me all the same BS that he was in a divorce/his wife was taking his kids but then I seen him on BF showing off his new AR . So then I asked in a stern email for my knife because it had been over a month, and he begged me not to take it to GB&U . So finally he gives me a tracking #, and guess what it was delivered 2 week prior to an address in Tennessee ??? I live in Idaho ..... Long story short I finally get my BM 6150 and he says he will refund me $35 for the hassle so thinking he's good on his word I gave him good feedback (my bad I admit) . He didn't give me a refund !.

So anyways would I advise everyone to stay clear of Ricky ? YES ! And BTW to all Mods I truly think he is a dealer.

You lucky bum!!! I knew I should have listened to my gut on this one. I am heading to the post office tomorrow to see what can be done. Also I will be filing a postal fraud claim against him if he is unable to come through on either count. Then further contacting the local authorities giving his address, name, and contact information.

I figure I have to wait until next monday at the least. But Ill follow through. Anyone else wanting to join in or have legitimate claims against him, please let me know. He was very responsive to collect my money but not responsive to follow through.

Rob

I have nor received it… He is a fraud, no doubt.

Opgenorf:

Oh man! I agree with you, I guess this is the same Microtech and sorry to hear about your story, because I bought it at 18th of July but it never arrived. I am really disappointed. Ricky is a swindler, let you know. Definitely!

P.S.: PP was able to refund my money.

PEP!!! Do not buy from HIM!

Zotya,
There is no tracking number on outside the country mailing unless it is sent registered mail. All you get is a customs number.
...yes and no... while the Customs # (generally starting with LC and ending in US ) will not track it to delivery as Priority etc will if you us USPS Track and Confirm ( https://www.usps.com/ ) and enter this number it will at the very least show the time, date and location that the item was accepted by the USPS and the date it went through the last US hub before it went international.

You should provide the gentleman in Hungry the customs # which will at least allow him some comfort to know the item has been shipped. USPS first class "should" arrive in a couple of weeks but it has known to take six or more weeks to get here as well.

Andy

This custom number may show shipping information received electronically. It won't prove sender has actually send it to USPS office.

All the packages I have received from the US in the past 5-6 months (probably 50 - 80) I have been able to identify that the package is in the hands of the USPS and not just the shipping information received.

By way of example try putting LC715487756US into the USPS tracking.

Andy

I know not all postal services are linked like Can/US, but it does show that tracking is possible- contrary to what others have told me in the past

If I received by way of USPS priority I can watch it all the way to my local Post Office and check later for the time I signed for it... :) Express is even better....but much more expensive... :(

I had a feeling he was blowing smoke when he wrote that 09-06 post.

You are only as good as your word and his word is shiit.

I wonder what that makes him...............

Just received a tracking number and it shows that he is actually shipping something to me. So happy day, perhaps I am receiving what he sold me.

I just wanted to show more completed USPS-Canada tracking

Currently: Items have arrived but one is missing. Present items are as described. Have contacted Ricky about it and have been awaiting refund for the missing item since late September.

It's been a while but I just wanted to apologize again for the horrible mess I caused. Everyone has been made whole 3-4 months ago so I hope I can earn your forgiveness. Life has gotten better for me after getting help to deal with my issues with Anxiety and Depression. I would love to become a contributor to this forum again and to buy and sell a few knives. First I would like to say I am not a dealer as mentioned. I'm just a regular guy who loves knives. My selling policy will be to ship items first and get paid after you receive your item. If you want to punish me by holding the money for a month or 2, I deserve it. I hope I get some positive responses to this post. Again, if not, I deserve it-----Ricky

May I suggest you contribute to the forums for a while and then engage in wheelin/dealing again. For the forseeable future I would guess most will demand you pay first on sale deals, and ship first on sale/trade deals. Please don't be offended or surprised to see most here refusing to send you a nickle until the knife you are selling is in their hands.

Prove yourself again and remember; Trust IS earned.....................

Hello Ricky,
I am glad to see you are back on the forums again, but am still awaiting the $30 refund as we agreed in October from the one knife missing in m package. Please let me know what you intend to do about it.

Thank you,
Kenny
