Ritter MK1 in CPM M4

just so depressing having these empty wilkinsgrips... but know blade to put them on..
 
Joking aside, I am O.K. with the delay too. I would rather BM took all the time that they need to get it right.

Ahhh, well, there is that, too. I hope to heck they do better than with the 710-801s, which were a pretty poor product, when all was said and done. The only redeeming feature was the CPM-M4 blade.
 
I just pre ordered a full size M4 Ritter to go with my M2 Mini Ritter.:D The large M2 Grips sold out before I could snag one. I lucked out this time.

I will just point you to the statement on the order page:

"Benchmade has told us that we can expect deliveries in February 2010, but that is subject to the vagaries of production and out of our control. They will be delivered when they are done."

Obviously, they aren't done yet. Nobody is authorized to give out a delivery date. Nobody wants them done more than me, I can assure you. When they are done, they will be done and not any sooner. Just the nature of the beast. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for letting us know where we are at. As a knife nut... It's nice to have something to look forward to. I mean Who am I kidding? The longer the delay the less cash I'll spend on a "Knew" knife between now and then. I'm waiting for my knew knife, so I'm saving money.
 
same pic Mr. Ritter showed us earlier in the thread... but still.. perhaps that means we are closer? lol

This reminds me of dealing with the utility company.

Operator to me: We will be at your home next week between the hours of 8-4 providing scheduling delays are not taxing the technician.

Me: What day?

Operator: Sometime next week. Will you be home?

Me: WTH!

I'm pretty excited about getting my ritter but this delay just means I have to buy another knife while I'm waiting.:D Oh darn.
 
I went ahead and bought another knife in the mean time. Couldn't help myself.

You guys think there is any chance that benchmade is just waiting for a certain number of these to sell before producing them? Just wondering...
