Robbed of $1500 by Crusader Forge Knives

LOL @ Crusader Forge. You come on here to vaguely imply that the OP isn't telling the whole story but you refuse to explain what you mean by that. Sounds like you don't really have anything to help your case but you think we will fall for that BS. Don't come on here and imply that your customers (that you have treated badly) are exaggerating. If I got screwed by you like this, it would just be salt in the wound to hear you make stuff up now. Just admit your fault, fix the situation, and move on.

I'm in the process of selling off my Hinderers because I can't stand how they treat their customers. I was looking for a place to spend that money. Guess where it's not going? The more time I spend reading about different knives, the more I add to my boycott list. Strider, Hinderer, now Crusader Forge. Good job buddy.

People who accuse CF of and the OP of not responding or updating seem to me like they just want their daily fix of drama. I think no news is good news. Its not good to see a fellow knife enthusiast get robbed by a knife maker or dealer. But its not good to see a business go down. All I am saying is be respectful. I see people being more pissed off than the original OP without even knowing the whole story.

Because all the superfluous comments from posters who are not involved would be gone. There is so much garbage in this thread it has become almost worthless.

Let the people involved speak for themselves. This rule works well in other places. It definitely focuses the conversation and eliminates dog piling.

Chuck

This effects everyone on this forum, as we are all potential customers and need to know the good and the bad about any and all parts of this industry. I am not sure why you would want to hide that?

The 'piling on' can be attributed to the silence of CF more than anything, but for the most part, the members comments are well in line with the situation.

Nice assumption.

People are pissed off, because if you would take the time to read through the GBU section, you would see just how common this type of of thing is....

I think in a small way, all of us 'drama seekers' hope that these threads help identify bad business practice, and maybe make people think twice about how they treat customers.
It's the users and collecters that make this industry what it is, that can't be forgotten.

Dude you are wrong. I recently got dicked around by a maker and if wasn't for people posting in my thread I wouldn't of gotten my knife, even though the knife was wrong... I appreciated all those people not involved getting involved. By the way as my thread died down and the maker made a public apology things people stopped posting. Just today another member posted saying he's getting the shaft from the same maker and wished he would of saw the thread before hand.

These bad makers wish people would not post and let these threads die, that ain't happening because of the upstanding members on this forum. If you don't like it you don't have to read the post.

My order is coming up soon and they expect the $$$ before the knife is completed. Had i not seen this thread i would have proceeded. At least your experience is saving others lots of aggravation. And for this i thank you for posting.

I don't want anything hidden. I've seen too many "trial by internet" where the facts differ from posts. The best thing to do is watch what people involved post and decide for yourself.

However, the moderator has given dog piles the green light so post until you feel better!

'Dog Piles'..........

Hmmm, this is actually a forum. It's a place where people discuss the good and the BAD of whatever the particular forum revolves around.

If you are an honest business man, that cares about ethics and morals, you will welcome this part of the forum because you will be rewarded. If you are not, you will pay, as you should.

This is important, and the only people who would want to hide these kind of threads are the ones who have something to hide themselves.

I go to two places on this forum.

To the Knifemakers forum. They are awesome people, and this section, it keeps my faith in this great hobby, and the people in it....

Things that work elsewhere may not work here on this forum, and I'd rather like seeing the whole community get involved in things even if it results in the whole "trial by internet" as you phrase it is a place for people to talk or vent about the situation and may draw bigger crowds of people to the discussion.

I remember seeing a few other people chime in stating how they had issues with Crusader Forge as well, which are valid complaints. Than there is some mob mentality going on since Crusader Forge refused to defend themselves from what sounded like some serious accusations or even say they make sure it's made right and simply stated they prefer to keep it private when the issue wasn't resolved in private.

Like anything with the internet you have to weed out the BS once you do that you can find that there is plenty of valid criticism, concerns, and past experiences concerning Crusader Forge. Now we just wait and see what comes of this between the OP and Crusader Forge since it seems something is hopefully getting done now.

LOL. What whole story? CF refuses to back up their case. Don't be ignorant. I never jump on a bashing bandwagon but this case seems pretty cut and dry. The OP provides us with lots of info and proof. What did CF do? Companies that act like we need to grovel on our hands and knees to get their products should go extinct. Treat your customers right and they will do the same.

Respectfully, just so others don't misinterpret your statement, Chuck is an honest businessman. He has repeatedly stated that he doesn't want anything hidden. I also doubt very much he has something he 'wants to hide himself,' as it pertains to this discussion. I understand that's not what you were implying, but I wouldn't want others to mistakenly infer that from your post.

Minus your money tied up?
Would you think different if you had your money tied up, for nothing you ordered?
I wonder?

I have to laugh when a noob tries to explain this forum to me.

You seen to have have a reading comprehension problem. I don't want anything hidden. I have enough honesty to post under my name. My reputation as a business man speaks for itself.

I'm trying to help people learn from my mistakes. Wait for more posts from the people involved. This was a painful lesson I learned years ago.

.......and when the opposing side comes and and says.....nothing? What facts could differ from posts? What are you saying the case could be?

"Dog piles"? Really? I don't understand the few people trying to defend CF. Can't they try to clear it up themselves if they aren't in the wrong? Why do people think only those involved should discuss? Wouldn't it be better for CF to see that all these potential customers are being turned away because of their actions? Maybe they can learn a lesson from this and change their business practices.

Noob? Dang you are really putting yourself out there man. So because he hasn't been registered here as long as you, he can't know what he's talking about? You must be right since he is newer than you? That's retarded. I love it when someone that has been a member of this forum acts like they know more than me since I haven't been registered as long. It's like I must have never gained any knowledge of anything before coming onto bladeforums.

That's the thing idiots do, isn't it?
Throw the 'noob' comment out there...

Do you know me?
You judge me by posts, and when I signed up?

That makes me a noob to what? To this forum? To knives? To how business functions?

How do you know I wasn't on this forum 10 years ago with a different name, and left a year ago, and have now joined up again?

You suggested moving this to an area where nobody could see it except the OP and CF, but you don't want to hide it...

Like I said. You're an idiot, simple as that....

'Noob' what is this grade 4?

Another guy who runs a business and has zero respect for others or the inability to take public debate....

Getting personal.....and nothing good for anyone coming from it. Now back to minding own business. ;)

Thanks man, it's these kinds of threads where I learn the most about people in the 'knife world' from....
