Put a cold blue on the 'ol Machax today.
I really like the way it turned out.
It looks really good in the light. Hard to tell in the pic.

Don't even get me started on how many millions of people are "depressed" and pumped full of mind-bending drugs....

:D and don't get ME started about how mind-bending drugs are the only thing that touch my depression :P I only need or use one tho ;) happiness is only a bag of sunshine away!

Happy Birthday Marines!

Also I had a chance to test out how my polishing of the black coating on my BK15 held up to some wood work. I had that lilac bush that was cut down by the hydro company at the side of my house.

I use the 15 to snap cut through the majority of the branches, and the pruning sheers to get the bigger pieces. I wanted to make the pieces small enough to fit in my little fire bowl. At the end of it all this was the damage.

Just a few ware mark. I took it into the garage and hit the blade with some 2000 grit and all but one really deep mark came out.

FWIW, with regards to ADHD, I have a severe case of it. It was a real challenge to deal with. It's not an excuse for poor discipline or patience (I'd honestly blame being a teenager just as much), however, nor should it be an excuse for anything, really. ADHD often comes correlated with above-average intelligence, although people afflicted with it may have lower grades than usual because of the difficulty in focusing on a single task for anything over a matter of seconds. As some of you may know, I do a lot of private tutoring for college-bound students, and I do specialize in students with learning disabilities. If any of you would like some help for yourself or your kids in dealing with ADHD, etc, or the college process, feel free to give me a holler.

After that post about mind altering drugs... I feel like I'm missing something... Off to the garage!

Open invitation to anybody who wishes to join

Count me in :D

Nice work on that 4 Jonny!

Im loving my new camera. It transferred 101 pictures to my computer via wi-fi in 2 minutes and 6 seconds. No its not instantly... But i dont think thats half bad for 100 pictures.

Here is one of the pictures... Both of these items were gifts from a buddy of mine.

Amanda and I just had a heck of a ride home from the grocery store. Usually I get something to snack on for the way home while driving. I started eating and for some reason starting to choke of my food. It started as a quick cough and turned into the food lodged in my throat. I had to pull the Jeep over quickly. In doing so I felt like I was going to hit a telephone pole. I managed to pull over and stop my Jeep. Still choking I got out of the Jeep and started to reach my fingers down my throat to dislodge the food while staggering on the side of the road. Amanda quickly put her arms around me from behind and performed the Heimlich maneuver. The third or fourth attempt the food was dislodged from my throat and I was breathing again.

It took me a little while to regain my composure and continue on home. I am so thankful that she was there with me. I would have been in a world of hurt. She gets my vote for hero of the day.

That's helpful.
I guess I'm not a fan of insinuating or mincing words .

I thought this was the snark thread....
too late, this post has been noticed, noted, and reported. Feel free to carry on until the appropriate folks in charge make mention of it to you.

God Bless America, wool shirts, plastic guns, sharp knives, and good coffee.
Only thing I'd add is the Marine Corps.
