But these are NOT the answer. To hit someone with enough force to cause damage is certain to hurt your hand worse than a properly placed punch and im not sure these would cause more damage than a well aimed fist either.
Im sure some of the metal ones would do more damage, and maybe some of the full 4 finger knucks would support your hand better.. But in a real situation i would give this to my opponent and go with my fists LOL
When are you crossing the Atlantic?![]()
I've long felt you'd be better off with just a roll of dimes or nickles in your fist, if you really feel you need the extra "oomph"
Used to be one of the popular uses of a Buck 110 with dramatic results.
I agree... they're good way to break a couple fingers or worse. But people buy 'em up like hotcakes. I've long felt you'd be better off with just a roll of dimes or nickles in your fist, if you really feel you need the extra "oomph". Not as hard to explain to LEO and other people, either.
Then again, it's been a long time since I punched anyone in the skull, so what do I know...![]()
TZ Tunk Knuck.... Its a 1 finger "knuckle"
There is a huge following for 1 and 2 finger knucks on FB... they sell like crazy. There is even a knuckle addict group.
I never been into them myself... But was curious how well the 1 finger knucks actually worked so my buddy had one sent to me to play with and find out how effective it is.
Punching the wall with that knuck was a bad idea... Just saying.
I did put grooves into the wall... But it hurt like hell.
I also tried it on my reflex bag... Didnt hurt as bad as the wall but still hurt and wasnt as effective as a bare fist either. I always use bare fists on the reflex bag, doesnt hurt. Starts to feel tender on the 4th set of 50.. But doesnt hurt. With the knuck it hurts with each hit and i cant direct the bag as well as i can with bare fists.
Unfortunately i have been in lots of fights and completely understand how much a punch to a head can hurt a hand. Hell i had to have my hand cast up for a while because of an improper punch/punches.... But these are NOT the answer. It does seem like there are many better choices if you are going to carry a "weapon," and even the improvised items like the roll of coins ("I'm headed to the laundromat.") would be better choices.
I like rk's "just stay home" idea best
But now I do want to make some rings just for fun... mmmmmm Elmax...

Possibly the "DAILY DERP AWARD" winner. We'll know later.
In other news, I did go to Texas Roadhouse earlier and got my free lunch. I usually get a ribeye, but that's not on the "free" menu, so I got a chicken fried sirloin. The thing was as big as my head! Got half of it down along with a Caesar salad and half a sweet potato. Didn't take a picture before eating, so at this point it would violate Daizee's rule of internet food photography. After eating, went grocery shopping and picked up some St. Louis style ribs that I dry rubbed and have been cooking at 250 degrees for the last two hours. Two more hours and they should be perfect.
In a progress report...it seems to still be smouldering haha (in an inclosed fire bowl). Time to pee on it!
drink a 5th of vodka first. that should light it up and solidify your lead.
