RoseCraft Knives

The trappers are coming, not a trapper kinda guy, prefer single blade carry for my traditionals. I hope to resist the red sandalwood though, that cover material has become a favorite of mine.
Looks to be rosewood this time around.

A birthday present today my wife. It's great.
It's fit and finish is superb. The only thing I don't like is the nail nick is to far back, the swedge could be a 1/4 to 1/2 inch shorter and the nick brought forward, I did break my nail the second time opening it. Not a deal breaker but something that could be improved upon.

Still my favorite release so far, seconded by the Loosahatchee and Savage Creek (though it’s very close, they are all great IMO). That said, the Otter is best in my pocket, as there are no sharp corners.

I have an Overall Creek sodbuster coming soon, which folks seem to really be enjoying, and does look like a very practical model, too.

Just ordered a Stinking Creek sowbelly with black sandalwood, wish more people made single blade sowbellies! I hope they do the gunstock with wood soon, I really like their take on that pattern
Man I've had bad luck with new knives lately lol, received it today and it doesn't feel like they cleaned up the machining on the tang completely, kind of a weird zipper-y feeling, like equally spaced lines perpendicular to the tang. Doesn't feel gritty exactly but definitely not smooth, tried flushing the joint but the knife was already quite clean.

Knife is pretty great in every other respect, if I can get this one replaced it would be pretty amazing quality for the price, honestly not far from GEC.

Edit: I can also vouch for their customer service, knife is getting replaced, will definitely be buying more from them
