RoseCraft Knives

Another new RC in my stable. And unsurprisingly, perfect in every metric:

Still waiting on my new Barren Fork which has reportedly been delayed by some weather, according to USPS. πŸ€”

Yeh , really looking forward to the re stocking of RC in the UK . Obviously heard lots of great things about RC their F + F etc but cant seem to find anything regarding actual useage ?

It's d2 done fairly well. I don't exactly hard use them but I'm not scared of pushing it through some cardboard to break down boxes, or snip a zip tie here or there. If I do use it for any of that I just hit it with a ceramic at the end of the day and bring it back, 90% of the time that's all it needs.

If you're comparing to RR 8cr or whatever they're using, I would call it an upgrade for sure. I think the RRR also us d2 if that's a reference point.

Probably my favorite RC that I actually own:

No hesitance Chui , as I am literally waiting for restock at HH but that may take longer than I thought according to a message I received from Heinnies . I was just inquisitive as to what people thought of their actual usage ? As I said Ive been around knives for sixty years plus both good and bad but reading peoples views on RC folders I would have no hesitation in buying one , its just when I can actually get my hands on one .

I can tell you that all of the RCs I have (something like 15 or 16 of them now) all came with very sharp edges, and most of the blades are full or high flat grinds on comparatively thin blades*, so they've all been very nice cutters.

* as compared to most modern folders on the market these days.

Agree. Rosecraft have some of the best edges out of the box on traditional knives.

Absolutely. Definitely better than most of the GECs I've purchased, and much more consistent than virtually ALL of the Case knives I've ever purchased.

Signed,

Have to say, this new one is utterly spot-on.

Very nicely designed and shaped, easy pull, a perfect gentleman's carry............fit n finish just excellent

......in even older age, it'll be just perfect 😁

Hello Chui , having no chance at present of getting the Rosecraft Nolichucky Dapper , I have gone back to my original research and taken a second look at this easy open Lambsfoot which I have to say I do like the look of and for me personally an easier knife to open due to increasing arthritus in my hands . Whats your thoughts ? I really admire the English style shape blade .
