Just added this Rough Rider Grand Daddy Barlow, to match the I guess you would call it standard size Barlow, in smooth white bone. As always excellent fit and finish, superb walk, and talk, all for under $15.00, you would be hard press to find anything better, at this price point. Die hard Rough Rider fan.

The RR Ivory Bone is always a nice choice, ages well too.

May I suggest adding the Mini Barlow to your others? It's a really useful small knife that's worthwhile in anybody's pocket. Plus, there is always Scrim potential for the skilled (not my work of course!)

Great looking Barlows, there.
The only white bone I have is the large coke bottle. Somewhere in the house is a large sunfish and standard size Barlow with white bone, but from the time I ordered them to the time I got home (about 9 or 10 months) they had been misplaced. Sad, the sunfish is not available anymore, so I can't order a replacement.

These two have become my everyday knives for work. I work in maintenance, mainly as a painter and decorator but also undertaking minor building works, and the small yellow work knife has proven to be a great tool for just about every cutting task. Small, robust and sharp it fits the bill perfectly. The small amber bone stockman comes with me on days when lighter duties are expected and is always a practical and smart alternative. Apart from being great knives, the good thing about using these Rough Riders for work is that they are surprisingly cheep and so it wouldn't be the end of the world if one were broken or lost. But I really wouldn't want that to happen to either of these knives, they have become useful and familiar companions.

I liked the sodbuster pattern so much, I bought the large version in amber bone. A really impressive, strong, large, locking knife. Fantastic value for money.

I totally, agree just picked up this exact version today, and couldn't be happier.

Just got my first RR today--Half-Hawk. Very impressed by the quality given the price. In comparison to my Case slipjoints, I feel like Case has overall better feel and quality, though this RR has better centering and no blade play (my medium stockman and sowbelly both have some play and blade rub). Overall, I'm impressed!

Received my newest 4 1/8 closed R.R. Trapper with grey swirl celluloid handles the other day and figured I would toss up a picture. Getting harder to find one I don't already have.:D

Thanks. I have been buying this pattern for a couple years now and have most of them,
I have been carrying one almost every day and using it every chance I get and so far it has stood up to every everything I have subjected it to. Love it!

r redden sent me this fine Trapper and these two American coins (amongst other things!) thank you very much indeed Randy:thumbup::thumbup:

The Trapper has some nice Redbone and I like this new style of shield too.

Two new Rough Riders today, under 20 dollars for both, superb fit and finish on both, amazing walk and talk, and very interesting blades ridges on the spines. Extremely happy with new additions to my Rough Rider collection.

Congrats, ginnyr; those look great!:thumbup:
What is the one on the left called, and what's its pattern number? Looks like a 3-bladed canoe, or gunboat; I didn't know Rough Rider made one of those, but I'm definitely interested! ;)

Will post the model number and name later, but it's a pattern I'd never seen or heard of before, will post closer looks of these later this evening.
