That was me, yes no fibers after sanding down at least half way, just lots of resin dust. Not the same as the Northwoods denim micarta...not the same at all, maybe Pipescarta or something. Probably 1 layer of denim or just a jpeg of it covered by lots of goop.
Another member here said that they did get fibers though.
I don't know, the lanyard hole is definitely unique on a Barlow... and the fat spear isn't the norm for it either... plus the shield... looks like they are still attempting to be "different", but it's not a bad looking knife.still this looks quite pedestrian (there's nothing super weird) for the RRR line

This one is interesting and looks pretty slim. At least there is less danger of your finger sliding up onto the blade like the Rhino toe...and another weird sunfish...
