Rule #9 XXL World Tour 2016

It's been a busy week. Even though the Knives On Order list shows 3 knives, I'm actually working on 6. The Rule #9 XXL, a standard Rule #9, a Mighty Mouse, an Appalachia Special to restock Ryan's website, the M - 22, and one for an upcoming sale. I've been slowly grinding and heat treating blanks for a sale.

Thank you John for letting me pay a little at a time for the new Rule #9 XXL that I owe to Protourist. I should be sending the 3rd installment next week.
Thanks for your patience also Mack!

No problem, I`ve known you for 35 years, plus I know where you work!

I sure wish it hadn't happened this way. I'm so pissed at the USPS I can taste it.
Sorry you had to pay for a criminal's actions.

What a bummer. I relate to the irritation. I once had an anatomy book for a class delivered to the wrong PO box, the owner kept it, and when I complained, the clerk at the Post Office told me there was nothing they could do for my loss. So ridiculous! She actually suggested I keep checking with them to see if it was returned. 2 years and counting...

Enjoy the knife.

I makes me proud to be part of a groupof people as freindly, caring and especially as honest as those found hanging around here.
Right on for making it right Brad.

As of 9am this morning this one is on it's way to Mack.

Thank you, I can't wait.
Thanks to all of you for joing in on this.
Brad, I'm sure sorry you got the raw end of the USPS deal. I'll try to make up for it.

Enjoy your new knife Mack! We want to get a full review from you! This has become one of the more famous of Johns knives! You don't owe me nothin! Thanks for hosting the pass around, I enjoyed using, handling and shaving with the original!

The eagle has landed.
The replacement arrived today and is everything I had hoped for.

John, my first impression of this knife is WOW!!! It just might be the nicest knife you've made. I've always loved your blades but the fit and finish is superb on this. I absolutely love this knife.

That's the way I felt when I unpackaged the M-22. Those JK's just keep getting nicer and nicer.

Enjoy your knife Mack, it's been a LONG road! :)

Jeff

I think he is finally getting this knife-making thing down. ;^)

Good on you, Brad, for taking care of Mack. It makes me sad that you had to do that, but I have known you to be a stand-up fellow and this is another example.

Mack - thanks for the passaround - I enjoyed the knife while it was here in the cornfields.

Let's see that beauty out in "Drift Creek" ;^)

best
