Hopefully they can ban IP addresses.

Drama as over the top as this theatre should get that extra special banning love. Block his IP address.

I can't believe people do this, put their emotional desperation inbetween past promises and completion of those promises. It's truly low. If your loved one is that sick, why are you here trading knives in the first place? Misplaced priorities. Your helping this guy by banning him. Too bad, he had a solid track record until times and circumstances went sour.
 
I have dealt with overkill in the past on a different forum. After reading this thread tonight i decided to check my Paypal and get his full name. I searched Facebook and found what seems to be his page along with what seems to be his wife. I checked there past posts on facebook and over the last 2 months not one mention of a child with cancer. Take that for what its worth.

I ve dealt with enough low life lying fugitives and to me this guy is like a text book example. I would be willing to guess that at some point he was a good upstanding guy but perhaps got involved with drugs or gambling. That sort of behavior just screams desperation. Tell tale signs of an addiction! People that dig that low will rip off their own mother. Fueled by whatever drug/addiction it is the stories these people come up with are almost humorous they are so ridiculous.

I spent sometime reading this thread.
Interesting. The fact that no refund was given via the
Mail or a knife showing up or PayPal refund...I'd say
There won't be one coming from the seller.

Nicely done Bunzo. I think the evidence clearly points to wrong-doing by Overkill and he has earned his just desserts.......I find this to be another example of why I so enjoy this forum. We police ourselves and hold ourselves and each other to higher standards than the average internet-user. I will also offer, as another poster did, to help put together a collection to help make drift draft right if the paypal dispute comes back negative. BFers take care of BFers.

First I'd like to say Thanks the Mods and everyone else again for the support and the helpful advice as well as the offers to pitch in to help me financially recover from this. The offers were very kind! I have been camping for the last 4 days, so I wasn't able to get a thanks out any earlier. It looks like Paypal has decided in my favor. I got this email from them yesterday:

''We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your favor.
We were able to recover $324.00 USD and this amount has been credited to
you. Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted.
If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to
recover the balance from the seller."

I got this Email from Over Kill shortly after the one from Paypal:

"Well you got you money back, hope you are satisfied with yourself. I was going to send the tweener to you even after you got me banned and treated me like scum. I decided I don't trust you enough to send it to. You really wronged me in a way I will never forgive. I will sell this beautiful tweener to someone more deserving of it."

99.5% of the posts in his thread seem to think he's wrong. Paypal thinks he's wrong!
The only person that thinks he's right is Over Kill. Good Riddance!
 
Glad you got the money back.
Over Kill is, profoundly unwell it seems. He can keep the knife and peddle his "stuff" elsewhere.

Yes, they do and in an awesome way. A couple years back I was ripped off for the price of a used Umnumzaan, and the person 5 posts above you offered to buy a brand new one from CRK and have it shipped to me. I didn't let him, and TacticalBlade finally saw his name being dragged through the mud and shipped my knife, but that offer really stuck with me. Some really great people here.
 
Looks like another bladesforums witch hunt this does.

All of the BF sheepies yelling burn her, burn her shes a witch! But we all know there are no witches. It makes folks feel better like a sense of justice was dealt but don't fool yourselves.

Over Kill was more of a contributing member to bladeforums than most who commented here on this thread.

Perhaps you should try reading the whole thread before making baseless commentary. Over Kill was given plenty of chance to take care of this matter on his own. To man up and do the "right" thing. He was even unbanned so that he could do so... He chose all by himself to squander the opportunity. Have fun on the USN, don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.....
