S30V Framelock / G10 Leek

I'd like to see the S30V blade in the black steel framelock handles. I was actually thinking of doing that one day.
 
According to the previous posts, it should work fine bayou, and make a great knife!
 
Thomas, any idea as to what material will be used for the spacer between the frame sides on the spine? BTW thanks for catering to your customers, it's refreshing to see this sort of response to your customer base.

I'd also like to see the black steel framelock handles with a black S30V blade. The Leek looks great in black.
 
jvan, the spacer material is being discussed at this time, but we seem to be leaning toward aluminum.
It is great to hear feedback from our customers concerning all aspects of our business, and it is important you all know that we hear you and will respond.

rosconey, personally I don't want to wait either, but under our current production schedule, I don't know how to get it done any quicker than 6 weeks.

We are looking for some more idea's on a ZDP project, it is looking right now like we will do a new limited edition Onion pattern. We have had this ZDP for some time now, but have agonized in what to build. You all pushed this Ti/ZDP Leek project production, and I think it will turn out to be a sweet piece.
 
my birthday is the 19th of june-i want one for my birthday-also want non assist

the leek ti zdp is a work type knife in my eyes,why not make a nice gents folder from zdp also,maybe a zdp nakamura :)
 
Well, the JYD of course! A pocket sized non-AO has been mentioned several times. A ZDP JYD would be a wonderful knife. Simple, great materials (smooth G-10? or Ti?), great action.
Would definitely be my backup EDC to my Leek, and my Sunday go to meetin' knife!!
 
Yeah yeah do it do it doitdoit Thomas . . I need a framlock leek with something other that 440 . .s30 is great . . .you see I am use to what I got and am looking for yet another leek. . this is just what I need and I KNOW THAT THIS WOULD SELL .. .trust me . .I am no pro nor analyst .. I am just a guy who will tell you what you want to hear so I can get what I want. . .so what are you guys waiting for.
