I don't know about you but I don't mess with any factory edge on any knife. I find them very inferior compared to what I can do with my Edge Pro/strop.



Giving it a "better Ht" will only make it a better tool..after all that's at least what I consider all my knives..tools not keep sakes

I am referring to RC in this. Paul Bos doing better Heat treat then CRK is a different argument.
I actually never heard-Does CRK do the heat treat in house or send it out?
 
I mean hey someone is going to make the task I ask my steel to perform look like women work as well. Just simply stating some use harder than others.

It's like me driving 45 in a 35mph zone may seem absurd to you but I do it everyday type of deal?

Actually, if you want a higher hardness range in a Sebenza, you can just seek out the knives with BG-42 blades, which were run at 60-61, though it looks like it might be cheaper and easier to send a knife to Bos. I have three and they are very wear-resistant, but they are also a b!tch to sharpen if you let them get genuinely dull, which I did - once (learned my lesson).

Also a bitch to find at a price comparable to a 21.
 
Free Ti? Not likely. BM ones aren't really free though, you pay for it in the price of the knife.
