Couldn't you say this about CRK?! Lol.you pay for it in the price of the knife.
You spend half a grand on a single knife and they can't extend to you a 15$ pocket clip..lol.

Reasons for difference in cost between bm and crk are many. Free pocket clips aren't one of them.Couldn't you say this about CRK?! Lol.

I'm not saying I can't spend another 15$ on a clip I just find it odd, is all. That would be much closer to a reality if you had purchased the knife new rather than through the secondary market.
$15 for a clip isn't really a pocket breaking amount in my opinion. CRK makes some of the best clips in the business in my opinion as well.
I have been out of town for a few days, so here are some of my thoughts.
ANY user modification of the knife will void the warranty. At very minimum, the blade warranty will be gone.
Posting a video from that tool that you did is certainly not going to garner any favors from many of the long-time users of this forum..Including me.
He has a history here that doesn't put him in a very good light..
Speaking negatively of the members here (the 80% comment) will surely not end well.. Keep the discussion to the knives and not the people.
Other than that, congrats on the purchase!

I hear yah man the birthcard on the Benza I just bought said 59-60RC so I couldn't be happier. 2016 July at that.If you get a blade made after mid 2013 I seriously doubt that sending it out for a new heat treat will do anything for you.
Spyderco also does their S35VN to the same Rc range as CRK and you never hear anyone complain about their hardness. It is a good steel and a good hardness for that steel.
I have done informal (though brief) side by side cardboard cutting with S35VN from CRK and Spyderco, and S30V from Spyderco and I didn't see a difference. I have never had an issue with steel from CRK.
Aceco in Boise heat treats CRK blades. If you look on their site there is a picture of a rack of CRK fixed blades.
So you finally fell into the hole....Good for you. Start saving up more scrap metal for the Ink and Zaan next!... the Benza I just bought..
Hahaha I think this will be my last knife man. I've got a 940-2, 0450CF, G3, PM2, and now a CRK..I want to say I have all my bases covered ?So you finally fell into the hole....Good for you. Start saving up more scrap metal for the Ink and Zaan next!
