Saddleback Leather: Wallets

I am getting used the the bi fold part of it.
Only thing that IMO is a pain is that it is hard to get bills in and out. That may be because it is still stiff.
It is riding nice in the pocket.

I was given a medium bi-fold (coffee brown) as a Christmas gift this recent holiday season. Seriously, it is the best wallet I have ever owned/seen/heard about. It's stiff leather, but I can already tell that the slow break-in process is going to make it beautiful.

Anyone have pictures of their medium bifold (or anything really) in tobacco, preferably aged a while? I'm trying to decide between tobacco and dark coffee, and I'd like to see what tobacco looks like with some wear on it.

Just received my medium bifold wallet in Dark Coffee Brown as well as the small wallet in Carbon Black. I must say that these wallets are top notch in quality and craftsmanship!! In my humble opinion these are a steal for the price Saddleback Leather is selling them for! Currently I'm toting the medium bifold and I've had it less than 24 hours. I can't even tell it's in my back pocket!! I'm a customer for life! Thanks SBL for producing OUTSTANDING QUALITY!!

I'm not seeing the Saddleback Leather logo on the small wallet on the website. Anybody know if they have taken it off the wallet?

Do you guys keep coins in your wallets? I hate having coins in my pockets and want a new wallet to keep my coins in..

Nope, just one quarter in my pants pocket and the rest goes in the car to feed the meter. I used to have all kinds of crap jangling around in my pocket before I started to EDC nice pocketknives. So glad I quit rolling with all that change

here's my Med. Coffee wallet about a month in:

Just noticed that my med wallet is breaking a couple of my cards... the middle card slots on either side, breaking the top 1/4" or so off the cards that were in them. :(

Get in touch with customer service and they will get you a new wallet. You probably have the old medium bi-fold. Dave adjusted the design so that it won't break any of the cards

I did as you said... Jenny sent me an email back already and is sending me a new wallet free of charge, and said I don't need to bother sending my wallet back.

That's extremely impressive service!

I might just have to go hit the site and see if I can find something to buy to show my gratitude.

After reading the positive reviews I bought a medium wallet in a special color they made for me, I think light tobacco.

I tried it out the best I could for about 2 months...

And its pretty thick. With 4 cards in it and no cash mine is about an inch thick.

(When I bought the wallet I thought it wasnt going to be so thick because they had in the description "Its not thick with a lot of extra features...", I mistakenly thought that meant the wallet wasnt thick, LOL. - After I emailed them about that Ive noticed they have since moved that comment to the bottom of the description area.)

So unfortunately I never carry it anymore. I keep some spare cards in it at home, just not on me.

Id like to get their smaller credit card/business card wallet, Im worried that it would be too small for 4 cards and a few bills.

Wow, glad to see this thread landed in a good spot and is still attracting all sorts of solid advice / information!

I'm still carrying my large bi-fold daily and I don't think I could EVER give up this wallet! I still mostly carry it in my front pocket (jeans) or alternatively in my front coat pocket. Pretty much anywhere convenient where you'd want to put it, its just the right fit. I rarely ever sit on the wallet though; I find back pocket carry uncomfortable with any wallet.

Side note: I recently purchased a Kindle for my mom as a birthday gift. Instead of picking out a cover on her behalf I thought it'd be nice to let her chose one off the site herself. While she waits for it to arrive I've let her use my disused medium gadget pouch as a temporary protective case. She's been carrying the device less than a week and the gadget pouch she's using has been getting more complimentary attention than the Kindle! People know quality when they see it!

My new medium bifold showed up last night. The leather is much thinner than the leather of the old one that was breaking cards... the wallet as a whole is much more flexible. Fully loaded it is about as thick as the old one with nothing in it.
