I realize that it brands me as a bit low end, but I have been interested in the Bear & Son Sheepsfoot Barlow. They remind me a bit of the old Case 1199 Whaler. Might need to try one out over the summer. Nice to see this topic resurrected!

Mariners knives by Buck, Camillus, and Schrade-Walden. The Camillus and the Schrade came from a Sailor's estate (Deck #2 etched on the blade and bolster of the Camillus). OH

Yes, that’s a 1972 made Case 11031 SH, bought new and never used. Part of my Case pattern collection (how I used to collect knives). I doubt that either of the other two shown in the picture above have been used. OH
