Installed some Swiss Bianco G10 scales on my Tinker

Came here mainly to ask this: is a Cadet 3 possible? By this I mean a current-issue Cadet with the proper nail file, and a third layer with a Pioneer awl and Phillips as seen on the Explorer? Don't know if the springs would allow that, or if they'd have to be shoehorned into different layers, such as awl and blade/Phillips and file.

TIA.
Pioneer awl yes but not in the same layer as an inline philips. Here’s my solution:
Alox Cadet
Swap file for 93mm pioneer awl
Use vintage backside philips w/ nail file ;)

modified the blade shape and installed my snap on replacement scales in OD canvas Micarta

Quick question…you won’t by chance have some press on scales for the smaller models.. like maybe the small tinker will ya?
I might know a guy lol

Thanks for your reply. So file moved to the 3rd layer with inline Phillips, and awl added to the blade layer wouldn't work? Trying to avoid the weakness of backside tools, and square-shaft backside Phillips seem awfully expensive and hard to come by.

I made a simple sheath for my latest build. Based on a Alox Pioneer X but without the tools I don´t use.
One "problem" I encounter while swapping the alox scales with my own in brass, is the small micro slot for the tools that makes for a smooth open/close. Using washers around the rivets will make gaps around the springs... As of now I have filed the inside of the brass just enough, but any tips are wellcome.
