A Whole lotta BAD ASS in these photos, Probably not enough room for anymore bad ass in there...

Sam really pulled off the Crazy Temper lines

Even my esteemed friend STeven said to me he really hit it out of the park

That's a compliment you do not hear much from him :)

The time he did it in is well just down right impressive

SAMs a good a man

The one that started it all

Joe, very impressive project. Name, material, handle shape, hamon, blade shape. You have great taste in makers and I have great appreciation of your support of all involved in knife making. Mr. Lurkin is indeed a very talented maker.

You guys are all to kind

The men that toil over these projects are the ones that fuel our dreams and turn them into reality

In one of mans oldest endeavors ....... The making of blades to be able to stand out like Sam does is the Riddle Of Steel

Un frickin believable! WOW!

To see one of those would be great, but a dozen leaves me speechless... Sam is doing very good!

I think I figured out why Sam is so skinny (I'm envious being on the heavy side). He doesn't take time to sleep or eat, and must use a lot of caffeine to stay up for a month straight!

Takes awesome to a whole nutha level!!!!!

But I hafta say... That Koa handled one just leaps off of the screen at me... And each and every one of those is simply astounding in their own right... And the fact that those were all done by hand? And come out so close to being the perfect shadow for each and every other one??? Awesome squared...

I'm glad I have at least seen pics of them... And to have heard the back story from Joe just puts these on another plane...

What I said was that it is truly impressive that each knife is so bold, so unique.....and to have it done in the time frame that Samuel did.........THAT is a mind blower!

He put a lot of makers to shame with his professionalism.....It is both awe inspiring and embarrassing at the same time. If he can do it, halfway across the world, why can't some of our more impressive American makers?

Food for thought and maybe.....status quo just isn't good enough anymore?

Right on SAM!, you are THE MAN!!!!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

STeven, your text is so eloquent....quite a knifemaking feat. :)
