Sam Lurquin Tsavo Project 2014 Complete Project Done

The knife speaks for itself. It says I'm fantastic! and so are my eleven brothers.

The sheath…….perfect design, impeccable craftmanship.

Work ethic, both makers…..unequalled.

Paul

Only you could equal the work effort my friend :)

Great thread. Insanely talented knife maker.! One of the best looking groups of knives to ever be posted on this forum.
It would make an ideal Blade magazine cover as well.

It is with pleasure that I got off my ladder and put my "nails-gun" to photograph this "Tsavo" ...
Another great moment...

It is curious the quality difference of display enters here and on Facebook.. :-(

Beautiful work Norbert

Matt will be seeing you soon :)

Wish I could go, but I am off to the Amazon

Roger,

BIG time Congratulations.

You've all outdone yourselves, truly magnificent, one and all !

Doug :)

That is a beauty! Great line and flow, agressive hamon, and killer walnut.

^^^ Surprised me too. I told Sam he could pick the wood and run with whatever he thought looked awesome. Which is why I didn't know which knife was mine until I asked him. :) He knows I love walnut and that was his first thought, but the block didn't work out. I am really digging this wood in the various pics shown here in the thread - can't wait to check it out in person. And it's nice to have something a bit different as well as beautiful in its own right.
