Here comes the fun... Winds have really picked up in the last 10-20 minutes here in about mid Chester Co, Penn'sbush&shrubs (;)). Can't believe the power is still on...but I do, and will certainly appreciate every second of it while it is...until it isn't! :D

Just been out to the store to stock up on last minute emergency supplies - booze and another vital item to keep myself and the gf protected should the power go off for an extended period.

Postie just dropped by and handed me a bunch of very sodden mail (most of which was actually for my neighbor), but he also handed me a new Big Chris Bolo, so I'll forgive him.

Wind just started picking up about 30-45min. ago and this is just the tip of the iceburg. I'm dug in at my station now but I set my wife up with emergency lighting and minimal emergency lighting. I figure I'll stick it out until I get the panic call saying a stop sign flew through out window into our living room or something like that. Family comes first.

Wow...finally passed out for a few hours and just woke up because it's...quiet! I guess I'm in the remains of the eye? Too bad it's dark, would like to see what's going on outside. Hang in there, folks! Still got half to go...
 
Hopefully you all laid in a healthy store of water and Toilet Paper!

You can survive for a month without food, but without clean drinking water and toilet paper you are in for a S*#@ storm, literally!

Be safe all........Especially Jaxx, but if something horrible happens, I call Dibs on Jaxx's stash! Even if I have to rent a submarine to get to it!
 
Relatively quiet here,too. River hasn't come up more than a vertical foot past the banks, despite being only a few miles from raritan bay. I just walked the dog and she didn't even get wet.
Power is out, but with a dozen flashlights and a case of candles, car chargers for wireless devices, it's like camping in a house. Not so rough. LET'S DRINK!

I can't believe that I still have power here...WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO???!!!! (I should probably shut up now! :eek:;))
 
the snow was bad here. i had to dig out of a three foot snow bank last night. they don't call it big savage mt. for nothing. i'll try to get some pic's today while scotting out downed tree's.
 
Just got back from a little spin, it seems like the power is out everywhere around.
I love driving through roadblocks:):thumbup:
 
I still have power (in DC). Basement tenants didn't drown. So it all looks good.
