SAUDI SCAMMER * New * Alias *

Forgive me if this has been said already in this thread, which I have not read all of, but... why wouldn't anyone selling or trading on Bladeforums simply refuse to ship to Saudi Arabia? There cannot possibly be enough buyers in that country who also use this forum for it to be a problem for most of the site's members -- and the "Saudi Scammer" has proven such a problem that the benefit of refusing service to Saudi Arabia more than makes up for any lost opportunities.

I believe this site is going to prove truly useful to me. I wondered about certain people who sell on eBay and whatnot; this seems to be a great spot to learn how to weed out the scammers from the honest peeps. There are a couple SUPER custom makers on eBay, by the way; one of them I can personally attest to is Michael Hoover of Washington. He rescales knives with stone -- and not the resin crumb type of "stone-wannabe - and his works is SUPER! He sells under reddrummed on eBay (or is it redrummd? Some combo of "m's" and "d's" at any rate).

Anyway, I'm here to learn, and you guys sound like you know your stuff.

Pretty funny.

I just decided that shipping anywhere outside USA, except for lower dollar stuff to Canada, is just not worth the time/hassle in aggregate.

I have some other new rules:
1. If I can figure out the buyer is under 21 yrs of age, I'm not likely to sell to them. Clues are use of words "college" "high school" and "student".
2. Use of "texting" style messages including the use of "4 u" and the word "Um" as a form of stuttering in text. Example: "Um, did u like, ship it 2 day?"

Had one "kid" go paranoid on me because I required a signature for an Umnumzaan... he freaked when he found out an "adult signature" was required and wasn't sure if 18 counted.
 
Thought I'd let you know. We found your guy Charlie Cheng (his real name)

He is a Filipino working in Saudi Arabia and a former moderator in one of the local gun forums in the Philippines where he is likely disposing the items he scammed from you guys. He was subsequently banned from all Philippine gun forums due to several similar offenses such as what he did to you guys.

Thank you for this update, appears that he has been a pain on multiple continents. Perhaps he will receive some Saudi justice.
 
Unfortunately, he deleted some or maybe his photobucket album.

Fortunately, i saved his passport to sys.
