Saw the Ti Millitary at the Blade show today.

Oh and i apologize for the lousy pictures. there was just so much to see at the show and i was running taking pics of everything i could .

Definete sensory overload.

In the first picture, what is the one on the left almost falling out of the pocket?

I think it is the Leafstorm. The pictures below show the same pocket clip mount angle and under the knife is the same grey color sign on the pouch in the first picture. The Temperace is in the pouch with the red sign on it.

Sorry I don't know man. My head is still spinning from buying a Hinderer XM-18 folder for $300. today.

It would be amazing if the production manix is FFG as well.

I like the look of the etched dragonfly, and I have never liked SS handles...

The "TeroTuf" handle on the Military looks interesting too.

Thanks for these pictures colubrid! All of us who couldn't go to the Blade show greatly appreciate it. Spyderco has been working hard putting together all of these prototypes. I am so excited for the lil temperance2 especially with the desert tan scales. Those Perrin and Szabo collaborations look very interesting as well.

One knife that I have heard nothing about until these pictures is the Ed Schempp Balance. It looks like it has a very interesting blade shape with the spyderhole right in the middle. Does anyone know anything about this knife?

I have not heard anything either. However, if it is anything like the other Schempp designs it will most likely have too much unusable edge for my liking. ;)

That Manix is 154CM. Makes me wonder if Spyderco decided to just go FFG afterall.
I remember reading that if they decided to do a run of FFG, that they would also use a different blade steel.
Maybe now it's FFG for all. Or have I also jumped the gun? :p

I have no preference, I'm buying either way FWIW.

So many excellent concept designs that I hope make it to production. Thanks for the pics. :D

The Ti Mili defo looks good, I will be needing one of those I'm sure :)

That L. Szabo folder also looks interesting.

Same thoughts on the Szabo folder.

Also the "Balance" Model. :D I'm really looking forward to some of the new models Spyderco puts out. It just seems they can't put them out fast enough!

The Millie..... Black hardware? I think it throws it off a bit... Let's see a Titanium clip with the same finish as the handle. Screws I feel should be silver and not black. If that thing only comes in combo I'll be pissed.

Either way, I'm down for two, maybe three. :)

Wow, The Szabo flipper ridiculous thing is whack! Ti military is perfect, as long as it comes PE or SE too. Glad Manix is FFG, Can't wait for a shot at some of those, Chokwe included.

EDIT, i wonder what the double sided H1 thing is. and where do the Protos go if they dont get made?

I am both happy and disappointed that the Manix II is FFG, probably because it means we won't see Eric's FFG sprint run in S90V or S110V...
Thanks for the pictures.

This is craziest post I've seen in a while. Ti military is a must have. The Szabo knife too. I have always been a fan of that guys purposeful designs.

Glad I read this, that means there is still time!
Move the clip on the Ti Military for tip up carry!
Other than that, it looks great!
Never in a million yrs will I understand why the Military is tip down only.
Especially on a frame lock model. BM did the same with their M4 Lum.
I just don't get why anyone would muddle up a frame lock with a clip.
Not to mention the vast majority prefer tip up.

Plus
It will save life on my Bit's & Taps.

Looks like we have a bright future with Spyderco.:D

Thanks for the pics!

I NeeeeeeD That Ti-Military!!!!(minus the serrations):eek::D

Man lots to look forward too - dyad, perrin, military frame locks. Plus those ball lock adaptations with the button! Wish I could have been there. Thank you for the pictures.
