White micarta is often a nightmare for manufacturers to keep clean due to the buffing compounds, you'd be much better off with a brown.

hey guys!!... please dont be fooled as if this person was a real caring sort!
The amount of knives I have lost to this chap :D, in all seriousness Sean here is a great guy and deserves recognition as a most helpful and a fantastic participating member here in traditionals...both Fes and I have gone through stages here and been "blackhole sucked" into this awesome world of Traditionals....if there is an escape, im sure both he and I would silence the only person who knew of it :D

I agree (I voted for Ramshorn), but given the final choice of either Bone or Micarta, BONE gets my vote. Change my vote to bone.

Duncan....thank you for the kind words....as for the (lost?) knives,they are doing well and being used properly!!....and i DID warn you not to drink with me ........FES
 
I just ordered some nylon scales for my SAK Mechanic because I couldn't find any Micarta or Bone.
 
If it makes a difference, I would like to change my vote to bone. I originally voted for stag, but it seems it was a false option to begin with because no one wants to pass the $100 mark.

As to the color of bone and the jigging, I'll leave that to everyone else's preferences.:thumbup:
 
How about a combined post total (in traditionals only) for those who voted micarta or bone and multiply it by the number of votes... and cube it and multiply it by pi just for fun. :p Highest number wins?? ...or a deathmatch between the two.
