Scrap Yard 511 (SYKCO 511) - did you get one?

I am guessing that was 89.95 plus 14.95 shipping.....check out the International charge - a few more dollars ! ;)

I ordered one not long after they went up, even though I got a RMD not long ago and it is a sweet hunk of steel, I only hope the 511 is as good.
 
Just measured my RMD against the 511 specs and it looks to be identical. The 511 just might fit an RMD sheath :eek:
Could change my mind on trying out a res-c "RMD" :thumbup:

What do you guys think? Interchangeable sheaths?
 
Went ahead and ordered one. I've never tried sr101 and I've been looking for a good blade this size.
 
SR101 vs SR77? Man I was sure hoping for some SR77 for 5-11. I love SR101 but only when it is differential heat treat. You really get the best out of the steel then. But it is 5.5"...not a lot of chopping with that size......oh hell at $90 I can't pass it up.
 
I prefer the large Res-C handle to the small Res-C handle. But for $90.00, what amounts to an RMD with a Res-C handle is just too good to pass up. Get 'em while you can.
 
Yeah... I'm gonna let this one slide and pick up the sykco 911 when it comes out, I've been meaning to pick up a battle rat for a while and this new one looks like just the thing to fill that spot :)
