This thing is SICK, and THICK!! Everything I imagined it could be and more. This is the last Carothers I needed to fill the medium size role between my LC and FK2. I never imagined how AWESOME unbuffed Burlap is. Now I need it on the rest of my knives. Who has unbuffed Burlap for a LC, FK2, DEK1, EDC2 and a Kephart?

Totally agree!!! I Love this knife for it’s over kill Perfect design! Like it better than the signature model!! And mine is also in unbuffed burlap!!! I’m in love with the unbuffed burlap for sure!!!! You scored big and have everything you need!!!!

I would also guess that if you have a TekLok clip laying around, it would have the same center to center dimensions. If this is incorrect, I would appreciate knowing. Mike

Just to clarify, Teklok normally fits on all CPK sheaths that I have received. My measurement is across the sheath for a hybrid belt loop.

My Sig Series was delivered. Yep, she's a keeper.

Not sure why I prefer it to the HDFK (which I no longer have), but I do. I guess it's something to do with my preference for bigger camp knives. Now I've got a nice Goldilocks progression from the DEK1, FK2, BFK, SDFK, MC (and the Behemother and K18 lol, though I won't be humping those while hiking) depending on where I'm headed and how much chopping/batoning I might be doing.

Awesome pair! I actually did the exact opposite, I put double black canvas on the signature series and red and black linen on the standard version.
