Sebenza 31 Converts?

It's not as much risk if you plan for it. ;)

I had wanted an insingo also. I had thought of getting the S31 insingo first and the L31 drop point later. But, I swapped the acquisition order and which had which blade style. Maybe I'll have to get one of each like I did the Buck 110s and 112s. Don't tell my wife. 🤣

You don't tell your wife! I don't want anything to do with that situation. 🤣 🤣 🤣 I consider myself very lucky. My girlfriend has already said she's not here for the money and as long as the bills are paid, she doesn't care what I do with my money. I also took her to pet a rhino while drinking so... But she hasn't gotten upset yet that boxes show up on a pretty regular basis at this point. Or that I've already filled 4 display cases I need to hang on walls.

By comparison, my collection is tiny, only 25 or so at the moment. I can still fit them all in a single drawer. 🤣

I'm very fortunate also. She bought me a knife for our recent anniversary. So, she's enabling/supporting this also. Before that, I had taken her for a couple of weeks in England/Scotland and got her a new Sony A7IV to play with. It's all good. 👍

No lies. It is too late to save money as it is already ordered and paid for. And, I do thank you for helping the enabling process along. You did suggest the L31 first, but I made no statements saying otherwise. ;)

I will probably end up with both and, possibly, more than a single blade type for each. Ugg! And, I thought collecting Buck 110s/112s was bad. This whole thing started because I got too curious about a CF Mnandi email I received and started digging. Knives can be dangerous. 🤣
 
I keep looking at the Mnandi. I really like it. Just wish they made a larger version. I need a nice knife to carry when we go out and I have to wear something nicer than overalls and a t shirt. 🤣 I think I've settled on what I want for dressier occasions but I'm afraid it's not something I'm going to find. It'll likely end up being a custom order.
 
I thought that CF Mnandi looked really nice and would fit well in the pocket of some dress pants. But, when I did some research, it got a bit confusing. This version, though new, had a nail nick. I saw the gen 1 had a nail nick, the gen 2 had a different nail nick, and then the gen 3 had a hole. I wasn't sure if this would be a gen 4 (returning to the nail nick) or a fall back to a prior gen that already had a nail nick. Once I decided my first CRK should be more of a user and not just a dress up knife, I decided to not follow up to clarify on the Mnandi and look at the 31 instead. I'll probably have one of those Mnandi eventually anyway.

If you are seeing a Mnandi without the hole its either a gen 2 or 3 or a website hasn’t updated the stock image.

I thought the Mnandi hole came on gen 3 after the gen 1/2 nick. Is that not right? An outdated image is certainly possible, but it matched the description (also possibly outdated). It was a recent 'exclusive' offer.

But, then I saw it wasn't Magnacut and read it might be a while before those arrived on a Mnandi. It's not critical, but I might as well get it if I'm jumping in to CRK.

I started doing the same thing, but didn't get as far before someone linked to a post here. That short circuited the process.
 
I really like the pj look! But again, if I get a wood inlays, I would really like a polished body, too. Not sure if they offer that or not.

You can get either the polished finish or the blasted finish on wood inlays
