Sebenza lock failure?

A knife is a tool.
This guy is a tool.
Therefore this guy is a knife!

If so, he ain't the sharpest one in the drawer.

I doubt there is any folder I cannot cause to fail with a spinewhack.

I doubt there is any folder I would ever spinewhack in real life.

I don't see the point at all. :jerkit:

I pretty much agree with everyone in this thread. I have used all of my crks and would trust any of them no problem. I just wanted to get other peoples opinion on the video. When he makes the small sebenza fail in the begining it almost looks as if he disengaged the lock with his thumb while under the jacket. Just my thoughts though.

I just watched the video. He should really read Bob Terzulas book on the tactical folder where Bob discusses all the factors into making of proper liner lock (the same principles are applied to framelocks) before making some of the comments he did. He just proved his lack of knowledge.

The problem is when people pay for a 400 dollar knife they expect it to be indestructable. Ask yourself this,,will fifty thousand dollar hummer never get stuck? Will a two hundred thousand dollar lambos' transmission never blow if you can't drive stick worth a shit? Use the knife for what its meant for and you wont have any problems . To me its a slicer and that's what I will use it for. If you want to beat the crap out of a knife unnecessarily get a Busse

Remember...

You don't need to know anything to make a video,
You just need a camera.

I can't remember when I watched a video where the host was either so misinformed or just plain dead wrong. Kinda sad somebody who has collected a lot of good knives has learned absolutely nothing about them, their function, intended use, philosophy of design, etc.

I clicked on the link and made it to the part when he was wrapping his hand up in a shirt or something. A whole new level of stupid. I apologize to myself.

I just kept thinking,"If he hates his CRK knives so mutch, maybe he could just give them to me?" Seriously, I would provide them with a caring home :)

Every knife is a tool but not every tool is a knife. He doesn't deserve the honor of knifehood :D

I just tested my CRK Inyoni with the spinalwacking test. I beat on it like a rented mule. Could not get it fail. Rock solid.

If one doesn't know how to make a folder how can one know the correct or incorrect way to do it? Answer? One can't. By the way where that guy says at about 4:45 into it that this here at the 'top of the lock' is actually the bottom of the lock not the top. He doesn't even have his orientation correct!?

I think all the case fanboys might gang up on me. There are a lot of tough ass old men in that group :)

So basically Chris Reeve knows nothing about frame locks......I wonder if it would shock him "the op in the vid" to learn where they originated from.

I couldn't sit through the whole video. Can anyone tell me why he has 2 lego pieces beside the knives?

Reminds me of this:
