Like it. Sebenzas are not so precious that we shouldn't modify them.

I would love to try this. The spydiehole is great but I hate the ugly blade shapes they seem to require.
Honestly that’s the biggest reason I don’t own as many spidies as I would, if the blades fit n the handles more like that I’d own a lot moreThis knife is proof that they don’t require an ugly blade shape. So are knives like the Southard. All they need is a cutout to give access to the hole.
I was actually considering this one also! Congrats looks awesomeCheck out the new Spyderco Brouwer. It kind of feels to me like Taichung made a small Sebenza. Currently really enjoying mine as soon as I replaced the stock clip with a short Lynch clip.

One question, what tool would you use to cut a hole in a hardened knife blade?
I've had good luck with carbide masonry bits for drilling hardened S90V/20CV blades. Cobalt doesn't even scratch that stuff, though.Cobalt / Carbide , basically any drill bit that has a higher hardness than the steel you're drilling through.
Maybe not needed closed but it’s nice in use. My hand constantly indexes off it while changing grips. The delica would not be a good knife without it IMO.Yeah alot of them have a needless hump that makes the knife very tall when closed.
