See ya later, I'm selling BladeForums!

Been here a while. Not a frequent poster but a very frequent reader...and BF is always there when I need it. Thank you.

I haven't been here that long. During my short time here I've learned a lot. This forum is really useful and packed full of practical tips n' tricks, science, and techniques.

I'm a bit new here, but I'm very grateful that this place exists. Thank you for everything Spark, and everyone else. I've learned so much just from Googling Bladeforums thread before even signing up.

I'm new, and I think BF is well organized and has great content.

Based on seeing this thread I just signed up as a gold member.

Keep up the great work!

I've got to admit I was more than a bit disappointed when I read the subject line.
WHEW! Glad to see it ain't so. LOVE this forum.

Spark's is standup guy, one reason I've been here so long. Time to pay my yearly dues and will happily do so. Thanks Spark for a cool quiet place on the internet.

Hells yeah, Spark! Awesome to read those words. Exactly the vibe that has made BladeForums so excellent in my experience. Thank YOU.

You are a rarity in this day and age sir. For most nowadays money is the end all be all. It's nice to see that someone values something more than the almighty dollar. I love this sight and it has helped me more times than I can count.

Kevin. Can you please have someone to get in touch with me about my membership. I can't get any response to a site issue I am having. Thanks. Dave Rhea - Blade Field Editor.

This is the best forum on the internet, not to mention among the knife sites. So glad you care about its value as a resource to the community and the public more than its capability as a money machine. I heard Blade magazine bought knifeforums. That place is so lame due to all the banner ads, other ads, etc. The best thing they could do with it would be to make it look like BFC. But that probably won't happen because BFC is the best and the model for all other knife forums. Keep it up! (And don't sell out!!)

I really enjoyed reading your response to the 'money people'. I only joined today, and I'm already feeling good about it. A question, though: one response said something about ''the best $25 I spend every year''. Is that an average for donations to be a member? And if so, who and where do i send my $? Will be a few days till I get paid, so immediate response isn't neccessary. Thank you for letting me join, too! I LOVE MY BLADES!!!! M-M 4570

Thank you for providing this "safe haven" where us knife nuts can safely talk about knives, away from the rest of the non-knife people who just don't understand....

I have really learned a lot from my time here, and I would hate for BF to change.
Thank you for keeping this site the way it is. No matter how much they offer, don't ever get rid of Blade Forums.

Amen to that, my friend. I'm considered a 'knife nut' by some, and they just don't get it. And never will. m-m4570

Integrity is what it's called. Most people don't have it; you evidently do... and what a breath of fresh air it is to hear. But I would not blame you if sometime in the future, when you need to worry about your family and their future, if someone dangled 10 million in front of you, you decided to cash in on the American Dream. In fact no one could legitimately fault you for that. Until that day comes we'll all continue to enjoy this unique learning, educational and communicative tool. Thanks for bladeforums.com!

I think you would find that many (if not most) of the people on here started about your age. I know I did. I could tell a good tool from a cheap one and that skill has saved me quite a few times throughout my career in the military and civilian life.

Read here and learn while you can!
