September BOTM - 102 in black palm wood/154CM

110LT with solid micarta handles. Almost like the old paperstone versions.
I love everything about this! It'd be great to see a 110LT come out with different handles. I have an orange one, and one of these days I'm going to get the black one to match my 112LT.

Or maybe a 112LT with topo orange handles...

They made a 110LT with those handles, but it wasn't a BOTM. Must of been a low production because you don't see as many of those topo orange handles compared to the black version.

I wonder how much longer they'll do BOTM
I do think it's a little strange now doing the Stealth Runs, and the BOTM.

I'm not complaining, I love seeing them put out as many different versions of their knives and possible. But you would think production-wise, the doing Stealth Runs that they can roll out whenever completed would be easier than tying themselves down to a calendar.

I still want to buy the April 113, but I just can't get past that price. I can get a custom shop version exactly how I'd like for decently cheaper.

I wonder how much longer they will keep the max made around 500. 750 is getting more common (done twice this year so far) and they made 1000 of the still available March BOTM.
If anything I'd think they'd start cutting them back down to the 250- 300 range. 500-100 is newer this year and doesn't seem to do well.

I think they should be released on the 1st and be available all month.
Cool idea but I think that's a short period of time to make inventory. The legacy knives go all year and are somewhat cost prohibitive, so if they run out or have a few extra in December it's not a big deal. I think people would be upset if they ran out, and the limited number run adds value to collector pieces... so I think production would be very hard for buck.

True. I've been happy with the current system myself. I haven't missed out on one I really wanted in a while. Knock on wood. Bourbon barrel oak wood 😀

That's the one I have. It's excellent, and easy to spot if I put it down while doing yard work. A matching 112LT would be great.
I've never seen a 112LT in anything other than black. I was surprised when Buck discontinued it. As an old engineer the topo map is my favorite
