A 970 would be a surprise AND confuse all of us who look for clues in our calendar. I was really hoping for a 305 or 309 in March. Maybe next year?

I am thinking it will be a 505 Knight in Buffalo Horn. I ordered one like this from the Custom Knife Shop on September 3. Per tracking, it is due in my mailbox tomorrow. That's a mighty fast turnaround for the CKS! I think they may have already had the materials and components laying around.

I don't think the 505 has been a BOTM before...

Looks like a good one, but 102 too small for me. $$ saved this month. The rest of you please post pictures after you receive them. I am interested in seeing pictures of the straight palm wood in the wild.

Money saved for me too. Never any interest in the 102.

It's a good looking knife with some nice materials though! If you're a 102 fan, this is a good one!

looks good. like 154cm steel, but don't love the 102 platform. so pass for me. those who get it looks like a great user. 154cm was an improvement on 440c steel. kinda the first knife stainless super steel, sort of....

I already have a 117. I'm not sure I want to go smaller in a fixed blade. I mostly prefer folders anyway; storage takes less space.
