That is insane!!! How does it hold an edge??

Wow, that is SWEET!

I really like all of my boker knives and I have a few higher end ones. I have never jumped into their damascus though. Is it all created the same or any to really look for?

Thanks!

All of Bokers in house damascus sold in the US is carbon damascus, very well made, just a little more maintenance. They also use Devin Thomas and Rob Thomas stainless damascus, and Damasteel stainless damascus. All are very good.

Okay, then I will keep an eye out for the in house carbon damascus. That sounds great to me. Thanks again.

Yes, their in house is made by different forgers, all of the highest quality. Andrea Henricks is one from the past and I have high regards for his steel.

Ooooooohhhh very nice!

Thanks, picked it up for three bucks at the flea market last Sunday, had some rust and both kicks had to be filed down, but I like how beat on it is, blades and bolsters show signs of being sharpened on a stone wheel, someone's work knife for sure.
Still has plenty of life in it, I only wish it could tell me it's life's story. Made by Kastor 1905-1936

Mine is a A.W Wadsworth & Sons Germany

FES,

You have the most interesting knives...! That's quite a selection, albeit with no Creatures in the photograph this time. ;)

The covers are synthetic-- acrylic, I believe.

They light up well, don't you think?

This is a tiny little thing (although I just discovered my Tiny Trapper is smaller yet); I'll have to take some comparison pictures soon.
