September TOTM: German knives!

Guys, great looking German pieces. Alas, I have no German knives, so I will be content carrying my SAK Tinker. It counts right? Since it has a cap lifter? Regardless, I had misplaced it and I found it recently, so I've been carrying it again.

Good choice. My son has a Tinker as his lone SAK (not counting the Rescue Tool in his car), and I like it a lot.

Here is my Boker LEO IV Loveless style drop point hunter: 600 layer damascus, 4 steels, Rosewood burl handle, 600 layer inlays, 925 Sterling Silver pins and guard. Only 250 made, these sold for 1800$.

Thank you all for showing these treasures.

Jeff, I've always admired those Boker Copperheads. I can't count the number of times I've almost pulled the trigger on one.

No German knives here. Also don't think I have one with a caplifter (outside my leatherman).

Great thread here! Love pictures of all these great German knives to oogle!

Eisman, i believe the Herbertz you show was made in China. If so, nothing wrong with that. There are some superb knives coming out of China at this point in time.
